CPCC to Open 2015-16 Season with A TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL

Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) Theatre is excited to kick off its 2015-2016 performance season with Horton Foote's "The Trip to Bountiful," September 25 to October 4 in its Pease Auditorium. The production will be directed by Dr. Charles LaBorde, founding principal of the Northwest School of the Arts.

Tickets to CPCC Theatre's Upcoming Season Now on Sale

Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) Theatre announces individual tickets are now on sale for its upcoming season. This year, the troupe will bring an incredible lineup of quality shows, such as "The Phantom of the Opera," at prices the entire family can enjoy. Tickets are available for $18 for all Pease Auditorium productions and $18 and $20 for performances in the Halton Theater, with tickets for children under the age of 15 available for $10. In addition, parking is free for all shows.

Community Theatre of Little Rock Presents its Spring Drama 'The Trip to Bountiful' by Horton Foote The Community Theatre of Little Rock is pleased to continue its 58th Season with our Spring Drama 'The Trip to Bountiful' by Horton Foote. Show dates are April 25th, 26th, May 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th at 7:30 pm and April 27th and May 4th at 2 pm, to be held at North Little Rock High School Freshman Campus Mini-Auditorium, 2400 Lakewood Rd, North Little Rock 72116 (behind the Target) This is a special arrangement with North Little Rock High School. Regular admission is $16 for adults and $14 for military, students (10yrs - College) and seniors age 65+. $6.00 for Children (4-9 yrs). Children age 3 and under are given free admission. Groups of 10 or more can get in for $14. Bring a pair of gently used running shoes and receive $1.00 off your admission.CTLR takes credit card orders on-line or you may reserve your seat by phone and pay at the door.

The Hangar Theatre has announced casting for its The 38th season, which will include a thrilling line-up of plays and musicals. The season takes off with Ken Ludwig's knock-down, drag it out farce, Lend Me A Tenor (June 21-July 7), starring Emily Skinner, Michael McCormick, Janet Dacal, Daniel Berlingeri, Lindsay Clemmons, Eddie Vona and Judy Levitt. That will be followed by the premiere of a strikingly innovative concept of the Tony winning best musical Titanic (July 12-July 28), starring Alma Cuervo, William Youmans, Drew McVety, Christianne Tisdale, Phillip Hoffman, Joneil Joplin, and Robert Cuccioli. The sophisticated comedy Full Gallop (August 2-August 11) is next, starring Dee Hoty, followed by the area premiere of the Pulitzer Prize winning musical Next to Normal (August 16-September 1), with Andrea Burns and Chris Hoch. The final offering is a true American classic, Horton Foote's The Trip to Bountiful (September 13-September 22), featuring Susannah Berryman.

Nashville theater favorite Linda Speir takes on the role of Carrie Watts in Towne Centre Theatre's production of Horton Foote's The Trip to Bountiful, opening Thursday, February 10 and running through Saturday, February 26. Jim Himelrick directs the poignant drama at the Brentwood theater. In addition to Speir, whose resume includes roles with numerous Nashville area companies, Himelrick's cast includes Corey Caldwell, Bev Kassis, Beth Henderson, David Thoreson, Joe Shepherd, Bob Buchholz and Ed Warr.
