As BroadwayWorld was deeply saddened to report on Friday, Broadway lost the legendary Stephen Sondheim, who passed away at the age of 91. Yesterday, November 28, hundreds of members of the Broadway community and casts of Broadway shows came together to celebrate and honor the life of the late Sondheim.

The University of Montevallo Dedicates Stage to Rebecca Luker

The University of Montevallo held a dedication ceremony on November 18th for its new Center for the Arts facility. The university unveiled the Rebecca J. Luker Stage in the DiscoverShelby Theatre, named after its alum, the late Rebecca Luker. Luker graduated from the University of Montevallo in 1984.
