Proof has found its Broadway home! The first ever Broadway revival of David Auburn’s Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning play Proof, starring Ayo Edebiri and Don Cheadle, will play Broadway’s Booth Theatre for a limited run.

BWW Exclusive: A History of ANNIE on Broadway and Beyond

Tonight, NBC will air its sixth live musical production. Following in the footsteps of The Sound of Music, Peter Pan, The Wiz, Hairspray, and Jesus Christ Superstar, the peacock network will be presenting Annie. Based on Harold Gray's comic strip titled Little Orphan Annie, this musical tells the story of a little orphan with equal measures of pluck and positivity who charms everyone's hearts, despite a next-to-nothing start in New York City in the year 1933.

The New Jersey Theatre Alliance's Stages Online ZOOM Play

With the Covid-19 lockdown occurring just a month before the Easter and Passover holidays, playwright Marc Palmieri was inspired to write a play specifically for an online platform: in a live conference call, the techno-challenged members of a small church struggle to mount their annual Passion Play on Zoom (Act 1) and then follow up their success a?" or lack of it a?" with a presentation of a medieval mystery play (Act 2).  

AMC Studios Inks Multi-Year Overall Deals With Rolin Jones, Gina Mingacci And Ray McKinnon

AMC Studios announced today that it has entered into separate exclusive, multi-year overall deals with Rolin Jones (Friday Night Lights, Weeds), Gina Mingacci (Killing Eve, Orphan Black) and Ray McKinnon (Rectify, Deadwood) to develop and produce new series for AMC Networks' Entertainment Group as well as other content companies. The deals expand AMC Networks' ongoing or previous creative partnerships with Jones, Mingacci and McKinnon.

The Theatre Project Stages Online Play Written For Zoom

Streaming Passion, possibly the first-ever full ensemble play written for livestreaming, will be presented by The Theater Project at 7:30 PM, Sunday, April 26 as part of The New Jersey Theatre Alliance's Stages Online. The story plays out in a live conference call as the techno-challenged members of a small church struggle to mount their annual Passion Play for an online performance during the Easter season lockdown.
