The Richard Lawson Studios will be launching a new Master Class series on August 4th, 2020 to take place every Tuesday evening at 6pm PST.

The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle announced the recipients of its 51st annual awards for distinguished achievement in theatre today, Tuesday, April 28, 2020.

The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle has announced the nominees for theatrical excellence for the year 2019. This year they are forgoing their annual event ceremony and will instead post the award recipients online in the upcoming weeks: 

Skylight Theatre Company, recognized for their unwavering commitment to developing new works, has confirmed a 2020 lineup of three plays, and a fourth TBA. All plays are new to Los Angeles.

This year San Diego Musical Theatre opens the 2020 season with a show to deliver on old world charm and affairs of the heart. From the creative team behind Fiddler on the Roof and based on a play that became both the Jimmy Stewart movie, The Shop Around the Corner and the '90s classic You've Got Mail, She Loves Me is a charming romantic comedy about idealism and the promise of true love, guaranteed to lift your spirits and leave you grinning.

Theatre of NOTE continues its 2019 season with the world premiere of DRIVING WILDE by Jacqueline Wright, directed by Bart DeLorenzo.  DRIVING WILDE will preview Friday and Saturday, August 16 and August 17 at 8pm, and will open on August 22 at 8pm and run through September 21 at Theatre of NOTE, 1517 N Cahuenga Blvd (just north of Sunset) in Hollywood.
