Come to the Cabaret, your table's waiting! Decadent nightlife meets dangerous times at Berlin's alluring Kit Kat Klub in the iconic Broadway musical Cabaret, on stage July 17 through August 10.

Today, the Philly POPS officially welcomes Broadway legend Todd Ellison as Music Director of the 2019-2020 TOPS of the POPS season. Likewise, the POPS welcomes its new Artistic Director for Jazz, world-renowned trumpet player Terell Stafford.

A&E Network dives back into the unexplained paranormal universe, greenlighting five compelling shows including the revival of 'Ghost Hunters,' one of the most successful paranormal series of all time. The network has also greenlit four additional supernatural-focused shows and specials including reimagined versions of A+E Networks' hit series 'Psychic Kids' and 'Celebrity Ghost Stories,' the brand new series 'Trey the Texas Medium' (working title) and the two-hour special 'World's Biggest Ghost Hunt' (working title.)

Neil Simon's romantic comedy, "Barefoot in the Park", opening June 28, 2019 at the Granite Theatre.  "Barefoot in the Park" is described as a rib-tickling comedy.  It was nominated for three 1964 Tony Awards and Mike Nichols won the award for Best Director.   Producer/Artistic Director for the theatre is David Jepson. The show runs June 28 - July 21, 2019

California Shakespeare Theater continues its 2019 summer season with The Good Person of Szechwan by Bertolt Brecht, translated by Wendy Arons and adapted by Tony Kushner, playing July 3 through July 21, 2019 at the Bruns Amphitheater. A Pay What You Can performance will be held on Wednesday, July 3. Tickets will be available starting at 10am on the day of the show through TodayTix and the Cal Shakes Box Office at 510.548.9666.

After a 50 year hiatus from performing on the Broadway stage, Elaine May made her return to much acclaim in the Tony nominated revival of The Waverly Gallery. The show opened in fall of 2018 at the John Golden Theatre, the theatre where May made her Broadway debut with Mike Nichols.

Elaine May has won the 2019 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play for THE WAVERLY GALLERY.

The fourth Musco Center for the Arts season at Chapman University will run September 2019 through May 2020 with a packed schedule of artists and groups from the worlds of opera, dance, theatre, and classical music as well as Broadway, jazz, country, and American roots music. Among the special events will be several spectacular holiday celebrations, culturally specific performances and festivals, and a live orchestra accompaniment of Disney's Pixar movie music to screened excerpts from the studio's most popular films.

A local cast of 39 young actors will present Willy Wonka Jr. on the MainStage at Arkansas Repertory Theatre this summer. The production, which runs June 21-30, is based on the classic tale by Roald Dahl, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Andrew Garfield and Jessica Chastain are set to star in Fox Searchlight's "The Eyes of Tammy Faye," according to Variety. "The Big Sick" director Michael Showalter will helm the film from a script by Abe Sylvia.

Andrew Garfield is headed back to the big screen! According to The List, the actor will play real-life pianist James Rhodes in the musical biopic, Instrumental. The film is an adaptation of Rhodes' autobiography 'A Memoir Of Madness, Medication And Music.'

Broadway star Kelli Barrett currently stars on FX's Fosse/Verdon as Liza Minnelli. The series follows Bob Fosse, who a visionary filmmaker and one of theater's most influential choreographers and directors, and his wife Gwen Verdon, who is the greatest Broadway dancer of all time. Fosse/Verdon tells the story of these two brilliant, complicated individuals - the love they shared, the art they created, and the price they paid in the pursuit of greatness.

Andrew Garfield is set to star in the drama biopic Instrumental from Oscar-winner James Marsh, according to Deadline.

Over the course of each Broadway season, unexpected and unique storylines inevitably pop up. This morning, with the announcement of the 2019 Tony Award nominations, a number of new narratives have come to life.

Ever since Casey Nicholaw stepped off of the Beacon Theatre stage on June 12, 2011, his career has gone into hyperdrive. The director/choreographer, who won a Tony Award that year for his work on The Book of Mormon, went on to helm Mean Girls, Aladdin, Something Rotten! and Tuck Everlasting- three of which are still enjoying long Broadway runs.

On this morning's episode of TODAY, actress Christine Baranski sat down with Jenna Bush Hager and guest co-host Meredith Vieira to talk about the third season of her CBS All Access drama, "The Good Fight." During the interview, Baranski revealed to the co-hosts that she was preparing for a musical film that has 'not been announced,' but that it is 'yet another movie musical.'
