Tony and Golden Globe nominated stage and screen star Adrienne Barbeau has joined The World to Come, a fantasy audio series available on all podcast platforms. Ms. Barbeau joins a cast of veteran actors from the Broadway community (including Justin Sargent, Lana Gordon, and Marissa Rosen) and beyond for the series climax as Queen Gehenna.

The Drama League presents DirectorFest,  the only festival in the United States dedicated to the art of contemporary stage directing.  The festival series that began January 10, 2020 continues with an evening of short plays with The Lover  by Harold Pinter, directed by NJ Agwuna,  and Appearances by Tina Howe, directed by Lindsey Hope Pearlman.

The Drama League presents DirectorFest, the only festival in the United States dedicated to the art of contemporary stage directing. The festival series that began January 10, 2020 continues with an evening of short plays probing the complexity of relationships with The Sporting Life of Icarus Jones by Marcus Gardley, directed by Chika Ike, and The Drowning Girls by Beth Graham, Charlie Tomlinson, and Daniela Vlaskalic, directed by Rebecca Marzalek-Kelly. The limited engagement begins Friday, January 24, 2020 at 7:30pm for three performances through January 25, 2020 at The New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher Street). Held in the rare and beautiful Spiegeltent (mirror tent) erected by the Big Apple Circus, The Mirror Room interactive installation at Lincoln Center crowns Cummings as the ringmaster of his very own glam circus.

Directed by multiple MAC Award winner Lennie Watts, Langford's show features songs by Stephen Stills, Bob Dylan, Lennon & McCartney, Sting, David Frishberg, Johnny Mercer and Henri Mancini, and more. The show is at Don't Tell Mama on July 13, September 7, and November 13, all at 7 pm.

Just in time for St. Patrick's Day, singer Moira Danis will return to the stage at Don't Tell Mama on March 3rd with her new show, Celtic Legacy, which debuted to an enthusiastic, sold-out crowd in December.

Celtic Legacy marks the return to the cabaret stage of singer Moira Danis in a show celebrating the beauty, power and vitality of Irish music. This is the latest in a string of hightly sucessful shows and CD's (including Some People's Lives, the 2013 Bistro Award Winner for Outstanding Recording). The first performance will be Saturday, December 2nd at 7 p.m. at Don't Tell Mama.

Early on in Tori Scott's SEEING DOUBLE, the woman of the hour deadpanned, 'I've been in a rut since birth.' If that's the case, we should all be so lucky. But on the subject of things that could be going better, throughout Scott's performance at Joe's Pub on November 13, the unofficial theme of the night was, 'Could this year get any worse?' With the election still looming large, Scott took the stage, explaining she'd been looking forward to the show because she was in need of some attention, before adding, 'Then Tuesday happened and I needed group therapy.'

The show takes audiences on a retrospective journey through the Ol' Possum's career, from the early Hank Williams-influenced Honky Tonk recordings up through Jones's 'countrypolitan' era, including his chart-topping collaborations with fellow country music royalty. Songs include such favorites as 'White Lightning,' 'The Race is On,' 'Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes?' 'Love Bug,' 'She Thinks I Still Care,' and 'He Stopped Loving Her Today.'
