The first footage of the Wicked movie was shown at CinemaCon in Las Vegas last night. Audio of 'Defying Gravity' and 'Popular' were played, giving attendees a first listen to Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo singing Stephen Schwartz's iconic music. New shots of Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible and Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard were also revealed.

Based on the graphic novel of the same name by Gene Luen Yang, 'American Born Chinese' chronicles the trials and tribulations of a regular American teenager whose life is forever changed when he befriends the son of a mythological god. “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization. According to a new casting notice, the upcoming Wicked movie is authentically-casting a wheelchair user as Young Nessarose, a new character for the film. Marissa Bode will be playing Nessarose in the upcoming two-part film adaptation, also starring Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda.
