Manhattan Concert Productions has just announced the full cast for the second installment of its Broadway Series, with a concert performance of, Titanic The Musical. This concert performance will feature almost all of the cast members from the original Tony Award winning Broadway production.

'Lombardi,' a play about the legendary Green Bay Packers coach Vince Lombardi, made its professional area debut on September 20 at the Eagle Theatre in Hammonton, N.J. David Wills, who plays famed Green Bay Packers coach Vince Lombardi, and Marianne Green, who plays his wife, have performed regionally and internationally for decades. This will mark their third time performing as each other's opposites since first sharing the stage in 1979 when they were cast in the musical 'Shenandoah.'

It was theatre magic at its best: rain lightly came down on closing night as the entire cast of LES MISERABLES at The Muny belted out 'The Epilogue' one more time. The audience lept to their feet as the final notes hung in the air. All week long, The Muny experienced a complete standing ovation before the curtain call began, something that Muny goers said hasn't happened in at least 35 years. The cast of LES MISERABLES experienced the audience's appreciation all week long and their final performance was no exception.

Victor Hugo's novel, LES MISERABLES, was re-imagined in the early 1980's as a very successful musical (lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer (adapted from the French text by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel) and score by Claude-Michel Schonberg)) that has continued to captivate audiences. Although I wasn't especially fond of the touring show that passed through last year, The Muny's current production is a revelation. The scope of this work is an ideal match for The Muny's expansive stage, and I highly recommend this terrific presentation.
