The Lucille Lortel Theatre has revealed that five new musicals will receive support through the 121 Project, the Lortel’s tailored development program for new musical works.

Nominations for the 41st Annual Lucille Lortel Awards – the  only New York theatre award to exclusively honor Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway – were  announced by Amber Gray and Harvey Guillén. Check out the full list of nominees here!

Drury Lane Theatre will open its 2026/2027 season with Father of the Bride, by Caroline Francke, directed by Michael Heitzman. Heitzman, who last directed Drury Lane’s production of 42nd Street, helms this heartwarming comedy.
