Artisan Center Theater will present SCROOGE THE MUSICAL at its 200 seat Main Stage facility. The theater is located at 444 East Pipeline Road in Hurst, TX. The show runs Friday, November 19, 2021 through Tuesday, December 21, 2021. performances will be Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30pm, and Saturdays at 3:00pm and 7:30pm.

The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center announced today that violinist Soovin Kim and pianist Gloria Chien have been named the recipients of the 2021 CMS Award for Extraordinary Service to Chamber Music.

HANDS UP features individual monologues written by seven Black playwrights and expresses them through the creative compositions made by an ensemble cast. HANDS UP is co-directed by Spelman Professor Keith Arthur Bolden and Spelman Alumna and former Alliance Spelman Fellow Alexis Woodard. Woodard and Bolden worked on productions of HANDS UP previously as student and professor at Spelman College and beyond.

How would you feel if you could remember every single day of your life? That is the focus of MARILU HENNER: MUSIC & MEMORIES!, which returned this evening to 54 Below. Ms. Henner walked us through some of her favorite memories from her decades in show business. It would actually be more accurate to say she danced us through some of her favorite memories, for Ms. Henner is a performer almost constantly in motion. She has been dancing from the age of two. Her mother ran a dance studio in her hometown of Chicago for 20 years, and Henner is still in fit dancing condition. She is the author of two books about health.

Artisan Center Theater has announced auditions for Scrooge! The Musical. Book, Music and Lyrics by Leslie Bricusse | Based on A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Directed by Michael Brown. This timeless musical tale of the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, who undergoes a profound experience of redemption over the course of a Christmas Eve night.

Ursula Oppens is joined by longtime collaborator, the noted pianist Jerome Lowenthal at Brooklyn's Bargemusic (Fulton Ferry Landing, 1 Water Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201) for an in-person piano concert, Eclectic Series: Friendship, on Friday evening, September 17, 2021 at 7 pm EDT.

Saratoga Performing Arts Center is inviting audiences to the SPAC grounds and nearby Pitney Farms to experience live, outdoor performances throughout the summer. This August, the historic National Black Theatre will premiere a powerful production that was first introduced in 2015 following a series of state violence that plagued America, as a radio play. HANDS UP: 7 PLAYWRIGHTS, 7 TESTAMENTS  will have its radio play American premiere directed by Jonathan McCrory, NBT’s Executive Artistic Director.

With approval by Nevada Governor's Office of Economic Development board of directors, six companies will relocate or expand in Southern Nevada with the assistance of the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance.

Center Theatre Group is marking the ninth anniversary of DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) with “WET: A DACAmented Journey” written and performed by Alex Alpharaoh and directed by Brisa Areli Muñoz. Alpharaoh's deeply personal work will be available free to the public on the Center Theatre Group's Digital Stage.

Actor's Rep will debut this year's showcase production online, featuring up and coming and seasoned actors in a series of dramatic and comic performances on June 26.

The 38th annual festival presents 13 concerts August 4-22 at its regular venues – the festival's home, the Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church, as well as the Parrish Art Museum and Channing Sculpture Garden.
