On Sunday, May 25th The Roots and Wings Project (Producer, Jesse Bliss) presented a special reading of Roger Q. Mason's Juana Maria, the third part in Mason's Califas Trilogy, a trio of genre-obliterating plays about the beauty and the underbelly of ambition in America's West.  See photos from the reading.

California Story, the first play in Roger Q. Mason's Califas Trilogy, will premiere at Caminito Theater at Los Angeles City College on May 12, 2025. Directed by Michael Alvarez, the production features an outstanding cast, including Aphrodite Armstrong, Camila Arteche, Davi Santos, Gracie Cartier, Morgan Day, Sawyer Shine, and Peter Mendoza.

New York Theatre Workshop has announced the playwrights and directors selected for the 2022/23 Season 2050 Artistic Fellowship. The 2022/23 Artistic Fellows are Miranda Cornell, Thaddeus McCants, Aileen Wen McGroddy, Attilio Rigotti, Andrew Rodriguez and Minghao Tu.

The Muse Collective will stream the world premiere of Peter Gray’s THE KARENS beginning August 13, 2021. The Echo Theater Company's next production UNDERNEATH THE FREEWAYS OF LOS ANGELES will live-stream April 2 for sixteen Zoom performances. 'Clue' meets Chinatown in a live-streamed, interactive murder mystery experience inspired by historical events. Set in 1960 in East L.A.'s Hollenbeck Park — newly divided by the Los Angeles Freeway Interchange that famously displaced over 15,000 residents in Boyle Heights — Underneath the Freeways of Los Angeles.
