The classic comedy Some Like It Hot will begin performances on Broadway this fall! It was announced today that the new musical will begin performances on Tuesday, November 1 and officially open Sunday, December 11 at  the Shubert Theatre (225 West 44th Street).  Find out who's in the cast and on the creative team!

California Symphony, led by Music Director Donato Cabrera,concludes its 2021-22 season May 14-15, 2022 with a spectacular EPIC FINALE, featuring the symphony's live premiere of Young American Composer-in-Residence Viet Cuong's Next Week's Trees. 

Violin Superstar Anne Akiko Meyers Returns To Play With The Santa Barbara Symphony, May 1

The Santa Barbara Symphony presents “Fandango Picante” with guest violin superstar Anne Akiko Meyers, on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at 4:00 pm and Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 7:30 pm at the Granada Theatre. Akiko Meyers returns to ignite the stage with Fandango, a new piece written specifically for her by legendary Mexican composer Arturo Márquez, who will also be in attendance. This piece recently made its world premiere with the LA Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl.  

Teddy Swims Releases New Single 'Dose'

Today, genre-defying crooner Teddy Swims returns with the playfully poignant new track “dose,” via Warner Records. The track’s warm, vintage vibe is perfectly captured by the ’70s-inspired music video. Currently on the North American leg, Swims is set to headline the famed Webster Hall in New York on April 29. COSMICOMICS Comes to New Stage Theatre This Weekend

From April 17 to 29, New Stage Theatre Company, under the direction of Ildiko Nemeth, will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a re-staging of its 2014 production 'Cosmicomics,' derived from the Italian novel of the same name by Italo Calvino, translated by William Weaver, adapted for the stage and directed by Ildiko Nemeth.

Cackle, giggle, snicker, chuckle—however you like to laugh, these comedians will have you cracking up. Settle in for an evening of side-splitting comedy during SOPAC's monthly Laughs in the Loft stand-up series. Hosted by local comedian Joe Larson, each show features several comedians in a New York City-style showcase. Laughs in the Loft is held every first Wednesday of the month.

Nancy Meyers to Write, Direct & Produce New Feature Film for Netflix

National Symphony Orchestra Announces Classical Programming For 2022–2023 Season
