Doors open at 6:45pm for a 7:00pm start with The Play in Context by Melody Brooks, who situates the scripts in their historical time and place, followed by the readings and a post-performance Q&A with refreshments.  Teresa Lotz is Music Consultant. The Cleaning Guy will have its World Premiere at the 20th Annual New York International Fringe Festival in August. The solo show is written and performed by Paul Adams who has been developing the script over the last three years at Emerging Artists New Work Series. The comedy is based on his life as an apartment cleaner in New York City, since 1991. In addition to being the "cleaning guy," Paul has also been the Artistic Director for Emerging Artists Theatre since its inception in 1993.  (more...)
