Opera Atelier has announced a thrilling film premiere of Angel - fully-staged and filmed at St. Lawrence Hall, in strict compliance with provincial health and safety regulations - streaming Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 7pm ET (available until Friday, November 12, 2021).

Twenty artists have been confirmed to perform on Wales Millennium Centre's incredible Donald Gordon Theatre stage in what will be a more intimate edition of the festival this year  - from established international acts to emerging artists spanning multiple genres and styles.

Dr. Peter Simon, Michael and Sonja Koerner President & CEO of The Royal Conservatory of Music, Mervon Mehta, Executive Director of Performing Arts, and James Anagnoson, Dean of The Glenn Gould School, today revealed details of the diverse concerts that will make up the 13th concert season at The Royal Conservatory of Music.

This week, on Thursday, August 19th, at 9 pm, THE PLAYERS CLUB, a historic club founded by Edwin Booth, will present Ernie Bird: A Composer's Night. The first concert dedicated to Ernie Bird's music, and his life as a theatre composer, will include songs from the musicals he composed for.

Starting on Tuesday 8 June, Dutch National Ballet will dance five performances of the Beethoven programme, featuring two ballets set to music by the world-famous composer; Hans van Manen's Grosse Fuge and the world premiere of Prometheus by choreographers: Wubkje Kuindersma, Ernst Meisner and Remi Wörtmeyer.  

The Royal Conservatory of Music has announced an addition to the ninth 21C Music Festival, taking place in January and February of 2022. Presented in collaboration with Tapestry Opera and Maniac Star, the world premiere of Gould's Wall will open the festival on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 8pm, with additional performances on January 13, 14, 15, and 16.

Following a year that nobody wants to revisit anytime soon, Artistic Director Peter Boal has optimistically announced the line-up for Pacific Northwest Ballet’s 49th season, running from September 2021 to June 2022.

The film follows the recent premiere of album track “Elyne Road,” arranged by acclaimed composer Nico Muhly.

Avant Chamber Ballet announced the release date of the next performance for the 2020-21 virtual season. Pennsylvania Ballet announced today the launch of its digital season, titled Director's Choice, featuring four complete archival ballets and excerpts directed by Artistic Director Angel Corella. The online season will be available free of charge and is scheduled to launch in two installments on November 12 and November 19 at 7:30 p.m. EST. Each stream will feature conversations with the artists of Pennsylvania Ballet.
