Ars Nova one of the most adventurous Off-Broadway companies (New York Times), piece by piece productions and Z Space present the world premiere of The Lucky Ones, a new musical by The Bengsons and Sarah Gancher (Hundred Days), commissioned and developed by Ars Nova.

The Off-Broadway hit The Bench starring Robert Galinsky, directed by Jay O. Sanders, will extend its sold out run at The East Village Playhouse (340 East 6th Street). It will start back up after the holidays beginning January 26 and will run an additional 12 weeks through April 13, 2018, playing Friday evening at 9pm. Kansas City Repertory Theatre continues its 2017/18 season with the 2015 Tony Award-Winning play THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME at Spencer Theatre on the UMKC campus. The play, adapted by Simon Stephens, is based on the bestselling novel by Mark Haddon. CURIOUS INCIDENT will be directed by Marissa Wolf, KCRep's Director of New Works and Artistic Associate.

Staged during Veterans Week 2017, NYC Public Artist in Residence (PAIR) Bryan Doerries and Theater of War Productions will bring together leading actors and city officials such as Council Member Jumaane Williams, Kathryn Erbe (Law & Order), Maryann Plunkett (House of Cards), Bill Camp (Jason Bourne), and Jay O. Sanders (The Good Wife) in dramatic readings of scenes from Classical Greek plays. Events are free and open to the wider public.
