Luminaries, friends, and community leaders payed tribute to Elie Wiesel in a community reading of Wiesel's seminal work, Night, on Sunday, January 29th at the Museum of Jewish Heritage. Scroll down for photos from the event!
Produced by National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene and the Museum of Jewish Heritage, this gathering brought together a wide array of artists, actors, community leaders, government officials, students, Holocaust survivors and survivors of other genocides, each of whom read a passage of Wiesel's NIGHT.
Elisha Wiesel, Elie's son, also participated as the community gathered to hear his father's words read aloud.
