The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced the line-up today for the 2018 Free Shakespeare in the Park season, continuing a 56-year tradition of free theater in Central Park.
CBS FALL PREVIEW, hosted by the Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award-winner Jane Lynch, star of CBS's new comedy series ANGEL FROM HELL, is a primetime special highlighting the Network's five new fall series. It will be broadcast Monday, Sept. 7 (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and CBS All Access, the Network's digital subscription service.

Mary Chase's Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy HARVEY directed by Lindsay Posner, will open at Birmingham Repertory Theatre on 6 February, running until 21 February. First produced on Broadway in 1944 where it ran for four years, this new production stars James Dreyfus as Elwood P. Dowd and Maureen Lipman as his sister, Veta.

The film adaptation of the Tony Award-winning musical JERSEY BOYS will hit theaters on June 20th. Directed by Clint Eastwood, JERSEY BOYS, written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, features the music and lyrics of Bob Gaudio & Bob Crewe. Just yesterday, the Angelo Galasso House at The Plaza (768 Fifth Avenue) hosted a special New York City screening of the new film, and BroadwayWorld was there for the big event. Following Transport Group's 2011 production of Queen of the Mist, our 20th Century Project continues into its second decade (1910 - 1920) with an urgent new revival of John Van Druten's beloved classic, I Remember Mama, directed by Jack Cummings III. The first production in our 2013-2014 Season brought Terence Rattigan's writing back in to the spotlight. Rattigan's classic drama, The Winslow Boy, a production from the Old Vic in London, played a total of 85 performances at the American Airlines Theatre from first preview on September 20 through closing night on December 1.
