The Tony Awards Administration Committee met today for the second time this season to determine the eligibility of 14 Broadway productions for the 2014 American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards®, presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. The Tony Awards Administration Committee will meet a total of four times throughout the 2013-2014 season to decide the eligibility for the 68th Annual Tony Awards.

Transport Group, the Drama Desk and OBIE award-winning theatre company, presented 2013 Gimme A Break!, honoring producer Beth Williams, last night at the Asia Society and Museum, 725 Park Avenue at 70th Street. Performers included Carolee Carmelo (Parade, Falsettos), Santino Fontana (Cinderella, Billy Elliot), Jayne Houdyshell (Romeo & Juliet, Follies), Rachel Bay Jones (Pippin, Hello Again), Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio (The Winslow Boy, Man of La Mancha), and Jessie Mueller (On a Clear Day, Beautiful). The first production in our 2013-2014 Season brought Terence Rattigan's writing back in to the spotlight. Rattigan's classic drama, The Winslow Boy, a production from the Old Vic in London, played a total of 85 performances at the American Airlines Theatre from first preview on September 20 through closing night on December 1.

It's Official! Sutton Foster is coming BACK to Broadway, as Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced that it will present two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster in a Broadway production of VIOLET (first seen as part of Encores! Off-Center concert series in 2013), directed by Leigh Silverman. Based on the short story 'The Ugliest Pilgrim' by Doris Betts, VIOLET features music by Jeanine Tesori and book & lyrics by Brian Crawley. VIOLET will be produced in association with Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, David Mirvish, Barry and Fran Weissler, Elizabeth Armstrong, and Mary Jo and Ted Shen.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that Dinner with Friends by Pulitzer Prize winnerDonald Margulies, directed by Tony Award winner Pam MacKinnon will open on February 13, 2014. The cast will include Jeremy Shamos as 'Gabe,' Darren Pettie as 'Tom', Marin Hinkle as 'Karen,' and Maria Dizzia as 'Beth.'

Roundabout Theatre Company's Underground production of Too Much, Too Much, Too Many, a new play by Meghan Kennedy, begins previews tomorrow Friday, October 25th at 7:00PM.

Transport Group, the Drama Desk and OBIE award-winning theatre company, has announced that Almost, Maine, written by John Cariani and directed by Jack Cummings III, and I Remember Mama, written by John Van Druten and directed by Mr. Cummings, will comprise the company's 2013-14 season. Both productions will take place at the Gym at Judson, 243 Thompson Street, where Transport Group will now be in residency.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced a special talkback at Bad Jews featuring NYC faith leaders, playwright Joshua Harmon and actor Michael Zegen following the 7:30pm performance tonight, October 24. The talkback is complimentary for ticketholders to this performance, and a limited number of tickets are still available to purchase.

Due to demand, BAD JEWS, the best comedy of the season has extended a second time! Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Joshua Harmon's play BAD JEWS opened to widespread critical acclaim off-Broadway and the limited engagement will play an extra week through Sunday, December 29, 2013.
