dick clark productions and NBC today announced the finalists for the “2021 Billboard Music Awards”, which honor the year’s most successful artists in 51 categories across all genres of music. The BBMAs will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, May 23 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on NBC.

Deadpan Love, which includes previously released singles “Roots,” “Dying In The Subtlety,” and “Agreeable,” wraps influences from R&B, hip hop and indie pop in Cautious’ trademark sophisticated songwriting and jazz- and blues-inflected instrumentation.
The show will feature award presentations in multiple categories, live performances from the biggest artists in music, surprise stage moments and will tell the stories of the winning artists’ road to #1.
About the collaboration, Bryce explains, “I was psyched to get the call to jump on this already amazing song with Parmalee and Blanco Brown. I’ve always loved dipping into different genres and styles, so this gave me a great excuse to put my cowboy hat on.”

“Love Somebody” grew from a night Teddy spent with Reed and Wilson during the first few months of quarantine and was influenced by how much her two collaborators have taught her about “real love and family.”

Originally released in the fall, “Burn” was written after a bout of depression and served as a breakthrough moment for the Los Angeles-born and based artist in both her mental health and songwriting.
