The show stays until December 15 at Teatro Alfredo Mesquita, then continues season from January 18 to February 15 at the Teatro Italia.

Theater for the New City Executive Director Crystal Field is presenting Brother Soy, Victor Vauban Jr.'s new play, a dramatic meditation about family, immigration and transgenderism in America, through Dec. 15.

It was formed by a group of actors and educators 20 years ago with goals of offering free after school theater programming to public schools in New York City.
