Review: THE REAL ONES, Bush Theatre

At once intimate and expansive, The Real Ones follows the friendship of Zaid and Neelam from age nineteen to thirty-six. Once kindred spirits, moving in sync, they fall out of step when the harsh reality of adult life sends them in different directions. Waleed Akhtar (Olivier winner for The P Word) pens a sharply observed look into whether platonic love can last.

FOLK Will Return to Hampstead Theatre in June

Hampstead Theatre Announces Full Cast and Creative Team For The World Premiere Of THE FOREST

Hampstead Theatre has announced the full cast and creative team for the world premiere of Florian Zeller's new play, The Forest. Running from 5 February until 12 March 2022, The Forest is translated by Zeller's long-time collaborator Christopher Hampton, and directed by Jonathan Kent, who re-unites with Zeller after his critically acclaimed production of The Height of the Storm.

Hampstead Theatre Announces The World Premiere Of LITTLE SCRATCH and FOLK

Katie Mitchell will direct Miriam Battye's compelling adaptation of little scratch.  Adapted from Rebecca Watson's debut novel, little scratch is a fearless and exhilarating account of a woman's consciousness over the course of 24 hours.  Moronkẹ Akinola, Eleanor Henderson, Eve Ponsonby and Ragevan Vasan will perform in this production from 5 November until 11 December. 

RSC's ROMEO AND JULIET Returns To BBC Two as Part of BBC Lockdown Learning

The Royal Shakespeare Company's (RSC) 2018 production of Romeo and Juliet will be broadcast on BBC Two at 2pm on Tuesday 9 February as part of the BBC's Lockdown Learning's Shakespeare Week.  The production will then be available on BBC iPlayer for 60 days.  

Cast Announced For Edition 2 Of LIVING NEWSPAPER

Moronkẹ Akinola, Hammed Animashaun, Ayesha Antoine,Alex Austin,  Lisa Hammond, Mariam Haque, Zachary Hing, Siu-see Hung, Wendy Kweh, Tasha Lim, Ntonga Mwanza, Rochelle Rose and Liza Sadovy have been cast in Edition 2 of the Royal Court Theatre's Living Newspaper: A Counter Narrative. 

RSC's HAMLET With Paapa Essiedu, and More Will Be Broadcast on BBC Four

The Royal Shakespeare Company production of Macbeth (2018) will be broadcast on BBC Four this Sunday 14 June at 9.30pm as part of Culture in Quarantine. This will be followed by Simon Godwin's landmark production of Hamlet (2016) with Paapa Essiedu in the title role on Sunday 21 June at 9pm.

The Free Association Has Announced Star Guests for VAULT FESTIVAL 2020

The Free Association has announced a star line-up of guests for their run of hit-shows at the VAULT Festival 2020. Running from 4 February - 16 February, this is the first time the Free Association will present a series of the most exciting improvised comedy shows in London.
