Broadway's biggest blockbuster, WICKED, returns home to the Bay Area to cast a spell on audiences once again. San Francisco's most 'popular' musical will play a limited six week engagement at the SHN Orpheum Theatre March 9 through April 16, 2016.

WICKED, the award-winning classic musical that tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, is delighted to welcome the American stage, television and film actor Tom McGowan to the role of The Wizard from tonight 21 September for a limited season until Saturday 12 March 2016. He will be making his West End debut.

After breaking box office records in the four previous engagements, WICKED, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, will return to the Fabulous Fox Theatre this holiday season from December 9 - January 3.  Tickets for the return engagement go on sale today, September 19. WICKED, the classic West End musical that tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, is pleased to release the first pictures of Oliver Savile (Fiyero), Sean Kearns (Doctor Dillamond) and Daniel Hope (Boq) who will join Broadway star Tom McGowan (The Wizard) and current cast members Emma Hatton (Elphaba), Savannah Stevenson (Glinda), Liza Sadovy(Madame Morrible) and Katie Rowley Jones (Nessarose) at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre from Monday 21 September 2015.

It's Mary that we love, and Mary's coming back! According to Variety, Rob Marshall (Into the Woods, Chicago) will direct a Disney reboot of their classic 1964 film, Mary Poppins. The project will be produced by John DeLuca and Marc Platt. The film will reportedly take place 20 years after the events of the original movie, and will include 'storylines from the P.L. Travers' children books focusing on the magical nanny's continued adventures with the Banks family.' Casting has not yet been announced.

WICKED, the classic West End musical that tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, is delighted to announce the opening of its 20th new booking period, on Monday 7 September 2015 at 10.00am, with over 500,000 new tickets going on sale for performances until Saturday 5 November 2016.

The 7-acre field has been designed to replicate the iconic artwork for the Broadway musical.

On August 21 Red Blanket Productions will present a rare revival of Stephen Sondheim's musical Assassins at the Pico Playhouse in West LA. Director Dan Fishbach and actor Zachary Lutsky, who plays assassin John Hinckley, recently took time out of their busy schedules to talk about the show.
