Tony winner Thomas Kail will direct the upcoming feature, reuniting him with his Hamilton collaborator Lin-Manuel Miranda, who wrote the music for the new film. Original stars Dwayne 'the Rock' Johnson and Auli'i Cravalho will executive produce the film, with Johnson also returning to his role of Maui.

The glammy and electronic strut “The Stuff” signals the start of a new era for Allah-Las, and finds the band reinventing itself in defiance of the algorithmic categorization and robotic sterility. Showing another side of the album the instrumental “Zuma 85” features field recordings with chimes that precede Manuel Göttsching (Ash Ra)-style guitars.

The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) has announced that Reuben Joseph and Valene Kane will make their RSC debut playing the roles of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth respectively in Wils Wilson’s upcoming production of Shakespeare’s gripping and brutal tragedy.

The Public hosted its annual GALA ON THE GREEN on Monday, June 12 at The Delacorte Theater during the Free Shakespeare in the Park’s run of HAMLET.

The 2023-24 Season will mark Creative Cauldron’s final season at its current home in Pearson Square, before moving to a new black box theater in the Broad and Washington project.

Two River Theater (TRT) concludes their successful season with the gripping, emotive drama, Two Sisters and a Piano, written and directed by Pulitzer Prize winner, Nilo Cruz. 

All new production photos have been released from the upcoming new play by Jack Thorne, When Winston Went to War with the Wireless, directed by Katy Rudd. The production opens at the Donmar Warehouse tomorrow, 13 June and runs until 29 July.

Two River Theater is concluding its 2022/2023 season with Two Sisters and a Piano, a passionate tale of revolution, art, and dreams written and directed by Pulitzer Prize-winner Nilo Cruz (Anna in the Tropics), running through June 25, 2023 in the Joan and Robert Rechnitz Theater. “In the Heights” will introduce you to the complicated lives of the neighbors in Washington Heights of Upper Manhattan, New York City. You will meet Usnavi De La Vega. He is played by Louis Salazar, and I was amazed by his talent handling the difficult music style in the show. His love interest is Vanessa, played by the equally talented Tshyona Dagnachew. His cousin Sonny is played by Rio Gonzalez who brings the comedic talent that makes you love and root for the character. His grandmother, Abuela Claudia, is played by Danara Muldrow. She brings the warmth needed for the neighborhood matriarch.
