Adelaide Festival Centre is set to celebrate the global UNESCO initiative International Jazz Day with a world-class performance at Adelaide Town Hall on Tuesday, April 30.

Bassist/Composer Billy Mohler returns his Focus to jazz after a successful career in rock, pop and R&B production and songwriting. Mohler's leader debut Focus is due out this March via Make Records, featuring a stellar chordless quartet with Shane Endsleyand Nate Wood of Kneebody and Chris Speed of a MULTITUDE of ensembles.

Galactic are thrilled to share the blistering feminist anthem “Touch Get Cut (feat. Erica Falls)”, from their forthcoming album Already Ready Already due out February 8th, 2019 on Galactic's own Tchoup-Zilla Records through Thirty Tigers. “Touch, touch get cut / Back off me daddy leave the girl alone / Vixen sistas rolling in my crew / Rusty switch pointed dead at you” sings Falls as a warning to any “drunken fools” shooting “slick lines” and working on “borrowed time”.  The new single follows the release of “Going Straight Crazy (feat. Princess Shaw)” described by Relix as sounding like 'an homage to Sharon Jones and Daptone Records,' and the previously released “Clap Your Hands feat. Miss Charm Taylor”, which The New York Times lauded as “a euphoric three-minute New Orleans funk romp from one of the city's long-running bands.”

The Apollo Theater revealed the line-up for the third annual WOW - Women of the World Festival. Presented over four days in various spaces at the iconic cultural theater, the WOW Festival runs from March 12-17 and will feature workshops, activities, programming, and performances with artists, community leaders, writers, thinkers, activists, and leaders exploring a variety of issues across cultural, civic, and social boundaries with a focus on empowerment and activism.

Today Galactic release “Going Straight Crazy feat. Princess Shaw”, the newest single from their forthcoming album Already Ready Already due out February 8th, 2019 on Galactic's own Tchoup-Zilla Records through Thirty Tigers. The retro R&B feel of “Going Straight Crazy...” follows lead single “Clap Your Hands feat. Miss Charm Taylor”, which The New York Times lauded as “a euphoric three-minute New Orleans funk romp from one of the city's long-running bands.” Galactic already have massive plans for 2019 beyond the release of their new album. Aside from the national “Already Ready Already” tour kicking off in Feberuary, the band will embark upon Jam Cruise 17 next week, and have just announced a 3-night residency at the legendary Tipitina's night club during Mardi Gras, a venue the band recently purchased. Linda Perry and Dolly Parton, have been nominated for a Golden Globe Award for “Girl in the Movies,” Dumplin' in the 'Best Original Song - Motion Picture' category. In addition to producing the Netflix film Dumplin' (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), Perry penned the music and lyrics for “Girl in the Movies” with Parton.

Eight-time GRAMMY® award winning entertainer Dolly Parton released the music video of "Girl In The Movies" today.  This track is one of 12 newly-recorded tracks on the highly-anticipated Dumplin' Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Dolly Records/RCA Nashville) out Nov. 30, and"Dumplin'" will premiere in select theaters and on Netflix on Dec. 7.

On the eve of Dolly Parton's latest album release, CMT is giving fans a rare glimpse into Parton's world as she records her new album in "Dolly & Friends: Making of a Soundtrack," a one-hour special premiering on CMT on Thursday, November 29 at 9 pm ET/PT. The special "Dolly & Friends: Making of a Soundtrack" featuresParton in the recording studio with famed producer Linda Perry and recording with artists Alison Krauss, Elle King, Macy Gray, Miranda Lambert, Mavis Staples and Rhonda Vincent.

On Sunday, December 2, the One Love Malibu festival will help raise funds to rebuild Malibu and its community after the devastating Woolsey Fire. Announced by KCRW today, One Gun Ranch will be renamed One Love Ranch, where there will be a live auction and performances by Katy Perry, Gwen Stefani, Macy Gray, Chris Martin (Coldplay), Robin Thicke, Natasha Bedingfield, Brandi Carlile, Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters), Angel Haze, Dorothy, Rita Wilson and more to be announced. Demi Moore, Pierce & Keely Brosnan, Johnny Galecki, Anjelica Huston, Cara Delevingne, Orlando Bloom, Chris Douridas, Laird Hamilton, Gabby Reece and Liberty Ross will also be involved in the festival.

The Iridium has announced that legendary and multi-award winning, multi-platinum selling singer, songwriter and actress Macy Gray will return for four New Year's Eve performances on December 30th (8pm &10pm shows) and December 31st (7pm & 10:30pm NYE Ball Drop Party).
