Burning Coal Theatre Company will present its 26th season (2022 – 2023) in Raleigh, NC.

The Kite Runner is officially open on Broadway! Based on Khaled Hosseini's internationally best-selling novel and adapted by Matthew Spangler, the production comes to New York from two successful seasons in London's West End and will run through October 30 at The Hayes Theater (240 West 44th Street). Lincoln Center Theater has announced its upcoming production of Becky Nurse of Salem, a new play by Sarah Ruhl, directed by Rebecca Taichman. Becky Nurse of Salem will begin previews Thursday, October 27 and open on Thursday, November 21 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater.

Set in turn of the century New York, Intimate Apparel tells the story of Esther (Kearstin Piper Brown), a lonely, single African American woman who makes her living sewing corsets and ladies’ undergarments. Featuring a libretto by Lynn Nottage, based on her play, and music by Ricky Ian Gordon, the opera is directed by Bartlett Sher.

August Wilson's groundbreaking Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award- winning drama Fences opens at Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, the professional theatre on the campus of DeSales University. The show previews July 27 and 28, opens on July 29 and runs through August 7 on the Main Stage at the Labuda Center for the Performing Arts.

Tony Award-winner Myles Frost appeared on the TODAY Show this morning to discuss starring as Michael Jackson in MJ on Broadway. Frost joined Hoda Kotb and guest co-host Stephen 'tWitch' Boss, revealing how he taught himself how to dance. Frost discussed when he got the call that he would be starring in MJ and joined tWitch for a dance-off.
