Spirited, a new holiday musical adventure starring Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell has officially begun filming, and it looks like the film's stars are bonding through music on camera and behind the scenes.  

The Ritz Theatre Company is presenting the first show of its 'Grand Reopening' season, Once on This Island, a Caribbean-set musical celebration of love, hope, and life from the Tony Award-winning team of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. The production runs at The Ritz from September 17th through October 3rd.

Classic Stage Company has announced that John Doyle’s staging of Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman’s Assassins will run November 2, 2021, through January 8, 2022, and will officially open on November 14. A year and a half after its planned debut, CSC is proud to present its much-anticipated production of Assassins.

San Francisco’s Landmark Musical Theatre has announced the titles for the Company’s upcoming in-person 2021-2022 season.

This season looks to be very exciting at the FSCJ Artist Series with Broadway productions, concerts, ballets, operas, comedy shows, dance productions, school performances and variety shows.

Show dates are Tuesday, Dec. 7 to Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021 at the historic Orpheum Theatre. Performance times are Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 8 p.m. and Sunday at 1 and 6:30 p.m.

Stages Podcast, a new podcast exploring life’s choices, mistakes and stages through the lens of artists, launches this Sunday, August 1, with episodes featuring Tony Award Winner LaChanze, Tony Nominee Keala Settle, and Drama Desk Award Nominee Jason Graae.

Kimmel Cultural Campus has announced the much-anticipated return of in-person performing arts across their venues: the Kimmel Center, the Academy of Music, and the Merriam Theater. On September 18, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., Kimmel Cultural Campus will host a grand reopening event in Commonwealth Plaza to celebrate the start of the 2021-22 season.

The Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning workshop is a free weekly program where lyricists and composers collaborate with peers to develop and cultivate their skills under the guidance of experienced instructors and veteran guest lecturers.

Classic Stage Company today announced that Tony Award-winning Artistic Director John Doyle will depart the organization next summer and revealed the programming for his final year. The forthcoming productions will offer a vivid, wide-ranging representation of the multitudes classic theater can contain.
