Carver Magnet High School in Houston and Holly Stanfield of Bradford High School in Kenosha, Wisconsin, are the dual recipients of the second annual Stephen Schwartz Musical Theatre Teacher of the Year Award presented by The ASCAP Foundation and the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA).

Celebrity Attractions has announced an extraordinary lineup of five national Broadway tours coming in the Celebrity Attractions’ 2021-2022 Broadway Season to Robinson Performance Hall.  Kicking off the season is the London West End sell-out show, THE SIMON & GARFUNKEL STORY and is followed by the romantic new musical, ANASTASIA, in November. 

ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, now playing at Moonlight Amphitheater through July 3rd is a joyful, colorful, and exuberant show with powerhouse vocals that would blow the roof of the theatre if the amphitheater had one.

The York Theatre Company has announced the continuation of its 50th Anniversary Season at its new temporary home at The Theatre at St. Jean’s. Following a devastating flood due to a water main break in January 2021 at its home at Saint Peter’s Church, the company will temporarily relocate to The Theatre at St. Jean’s.

The Kravis Center is bringing Broadway back to West Palm Beach with the 2021/2022 Kravis On Broadway season. The series is headlined by the “cultural phenomenon” (LA Times) and winner of six Tony Awards DEAR EVAN HANSEN, the acclaimed Lincoln Center Theater production of Lerner & Loewe’s MY FAIR LADY, and the heartfelt COME FROM AWAY.

When the Alhambra Theatre & Dining last mounted the lovable family-friendly summer show in 2017, Seussical the Musical, it sold every ticket. With the summer heat descending on the north Florida venue and COVID rules lifting a little a bit, the Alhambra is preparing for another sell out run – and just in time for some much-needed summer fun. The Alhambra will open its annual family summer show on June 17.  

The Public Theater of San Antonio has announced the productions it will be producing in their upcoming 2021-2022 Season! Ticket prices can be found online now, and season tickets will go on sale in late summer of 2021.

Cynthia Erivo has released her single 'The Good' from her upcoming debut album Ch. 1 Vs. 1! The album is set to be released on September 17.

Asolo Repertory Theatre has been granted $225,000 from the Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation.

The Best of Broadway series at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center announced the shows for the 2021-2022 season today.  The season will welcome five shows including: Fiddler on the Roof (October 29-31, 2021); Hairspray (December 11-12, 2021): Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (April 22-24, 2022) and more.

Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, D.C. will commemorate their 40th anniversary with an exhilarating virtual celebration “GMCW Turns 40” that is available to stream starting on June 5 through June 20.
