Fred Barton and Elena Bennett bring their Song Salon back to Pangea!

Nicolas King and Seth Sikes, two of New York's most popular young nightclub entertainers, join forces for an evening you won't want to miss.

It was a like coming home with Chita Rivera full circle and approaching a kind of comfortable closure when I attended the Signature Theatre’s Sondheim Award Gala 2023 honoring the Broadway legend Chita Rivera at the Italian Embassy in Washington. DC.  The iconic legend of theatrical music and dance (What a dancer she is!) was feted with the prestigious award from Signature Theatre and a warm response from a very “Chita-friendly” roster of performers and an audience of patrons, fans and supporters. (Rivera has also won about every award in the book including two Tony Awards, a special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and the Kennedy Center Honor).

Cabaret favorites Nicolas King and Seth Sikes, both critically acclaimed  performers, announced a rare musical collaboration only 6 months ago. Since then, King and Sikes  embarked on an exclusive tour that took them from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, Palm Springs to West Palm  Springs, and appeared in Puerto Vallarta this winter. 

For one night only, singer Jim Caruso and pianist/singer Matt Baker will croon the night away at the new Lounge at The Wallace Hotel on the Upper West Side in New York City. 

JUDY – O ARCO-IRIS E AQUI is a non-linearly play intertwines Judy Garland's biography with Luciana Braga's personal story, in a metalanguage that navigates between past and present, fiction and reality, shedding light on the internal and external struggles that the artist still faces.

Actors Theatre of Indiana presents the World Premiere musical Mr. Confidential, premiering at The Studio Theatre at The Center for the Performing Arts beginning April 28, 2023 and running through May 14.

Elena Bennett and Fred Barton have announced the return of their long-hailed 'Bennett & Barton Song Salon,' in the front room of Pangea, on two Tuesdays, April 11 and April 18. The event will run for three hours on each night, between 8:30pm and 11:30pm. There is no cover or minimum.

If there was any doubt that Cafe Centro was a bona fide Cabaret Venue it was dispelled last night.  Billy Stritch was seated at the Cafe’s Grand Piano and Linda Purl was the songstress headlining on the cabaret stage of the South Florida restaurant.
