The Dangerous Christmas of Red Riding Hood was written in the 1960s, and the young actors from TADA! Youth Theater will take to the stage post-performances on November 30th and December 6th to focus on why it is important to do this show now, how it relates to modern culture, and what we can learn by hearing the Wolf's side of the story in this classic tale. Director Janine Nina Trevens and Choreographer Joanna Garcia will also participate in the Q&A.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 - the new intimate concert venue dubbed Broadway's 'off-night hotspot' by The New York Times - will present Steven Brinberg in 'Simply Barbra: A Christmas Show,' the annual holiday edition of his acclaimed all-live homage to the legendary Barbra Streisand, on Wednesday, December 11 at 8:00 PM. The evening celebrates both Christmas and Hannukah, featuring holiday classics from Streisand's two Christmas albums, plus some of her biggest hits. Sam Gravitte (Wicked, Almost Famous) will be Brinberg's special musical guest. Christopher Denny will serve as Music Director.

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Executive Director), dedicated to the development of new musicals and rediscovery of musical gems from the past, announces the cast and creative team for the Off-Broadway premiere production of the new musical revue Anything Can Happen in the Theater: The Musical World of Maury Yeston with music and lyrics by Maury Yeston. Performances begin Tuesday, November 26, 2019 for a limited engagement through Sunday, December 29, 2019 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). Opening Night is Thursday, December 5 at 6:45 p.m.

The holiday season is in full swing at the National Philharmonic with a?oeHoliday Singin' Popsa?? on Friday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. at The Music Center at Strathmore. The Fred Ebb Foundation (Mitchell S. Bernard, Trustee) in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) will present the fifteenth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters to Angela Sclafani & Benjamin Velez. The award, named in honor of the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb, will be presented by Kate Baldwin on Monday, December 2nd from 6-8pm at a by-invitation-only ceremony in the Penthouse Lounge of The American Airlines Theater.

The Big Easy Award-winning theatre company, See 'Em On Stage ('Lizzie'-Best Musical 2016), presents CABARET (1998 Version) with music and lyrics by John Kander and Fred Ebb and book by Joe Masteroff. 'Cabaret' is based on the true stories of Christopher Isherwood which he documented in his book 'Goodbye to Berlin'. 'Cabaret' made its Broadway debut in 1966 before becoming a 1972 Oscar-winning movie starring Liza Minnelli. In 1998, 'Cabaret' returned to Broadway in the Tony Award-winning production starring Alan Cumming. This production uses the script and score from that version.
