Berkeley Playhouse has released production photos for Fun Home, running through April 2, 2023. Fun Home’s book and lyrics are by Lisa Kron, with music by Jeanine Tesori, and is based on the graphic novel by Alison Bechdel. Fun Home is directed by William Thomas Hodgson, assistant directed by Sam Jackson, and music directed by Michael Patrick Wiles. Community members are invited to join The Barley Sheaf Players' production of Fun Home, written by Lisa Kron and Jeanine Tesori and directed by Christa Fisher. Inspired by Alison Bechdel's best-selling graphic novel, the five-time Tony Award-winning musical follows Bechdel at three different ages in her life, as she sets out to unravel the many mysteries of her childhood through a series of memories and conversations - from her coming out, to her moving journey of acceptance. Fun Home runs from March 3rd through March 25th.

The Village! A Disco Daydream returns to Dixon Place after a sold-out premiere run last fall. The encore engagement will be performed for four weekends opening tonight – Thursday, February 2 at 7:30 PM – and running through Friday, February 24.

The Kleban Foundation has announced the recipients of the 33rd annual Kleban Prize for Musical Theatre. The 2023 Kleban Prize for the most promising musical theatre lyricist has been awarded to Ryan Scott Oliver.
