Last night, Feinstein's/54 Below again celebrated the popular and prolific summer camp, French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, will present 54 Celebrates French Woods on November 3rd, 2019, at 7:00pm.

Directed by Richard Vida and choreographed by Lainie Sakakura, The Little Dancer is dazzling Upper West Side audiences with the poignant story it has to tell. This musical has every lovable quality a person can ever desire: from the children who comprise the Musical Theater Geek Chorus, to the graceful dancers that prove these actresses, too, strive just as hard for perfection as the characters they play, This production captures the very essence of magic that exists in a child's heart when she is given reason to hope; during a time of self-reflection and the wonder of the holiday spirit, we see just how important a place The Little Dancer will continue to hold in the hearts of all those who are fortunate enough to see it.

The Little Dancer, a new holiday family musical written by Commonwealth Youthchoirs (CY)'s Founder and Artistic Director Steven Fisher, had its world premiere on December 1st at Theatre 71, off Broadway. Helmed by Richard Vida,The Little Dancer tells the heart-warming story of how fourteen-year-old Marie Van Goethem, the model for Edgar Degas' one and only sculpture, became the most famous ballerina in the world.

Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Joey, Phoebe and Gunther will only be there for you until July 22, 2018 when FRIENDS! The Musical Parody, the unauthorized parody of the hit TV show will play its final performance. When FRIENDS ends its successful run, it will have played 17 previews and 213 regular performances.

The Musical, produced by Lynn Shore Entertainment, Theater Mogul and McSmith Family Entertainment announced today that the box office has taken in over one million dollars in tickets sales and that a new block of tickets is now on sale.

This week the Broadwaysted Crew is making a list and checking it twice...though we probably should have actually checked the list twice! Bryan, Kevin, and Kimberly are pouring out a few rounds of alcoholic mango iced tea and ranking the Top 15 Movie Musicals that haven't had a notable stage production but really should (and even one that has had a stage production...whoops!) Perhaps the most surprising thing about FRIENDS!THE MUSICAL PARODY was the average age of the audience at St. Luke's Theater. Friends debuted in 1994, when some in attendance were barely walking, and many others not yet in middle school. I was about to graduate from college when the show first aired and expected to see more Gen Xers at the nearly sold-out final preview show. But Friends was more than a hit television show; it was a cultural phenomenon that influenced fashion, speech, hairstyles, and ultimately, our concept of young adulthood at the cusp of the 21st Century. Audiences believed that Monica, Ross, Chandler, Phoebe, Rachel, and Joey were friends because the actors playing them actually were. The final number, 'Where They Make A Million Dollars An Episode' gets at the rare and magical bond that develops between actors and fans on a show like Friends. Skillfully directed (and choreographed) by Paul Stancato (with nice work on sets and costumes by Josh Iacovelli and David Rigler), FRIENDS! THE MUSICAL PARODY is an entertaining trip down memory lane.
