Birdland Theater has announced that singer Eve Marie Shahoian will perform in concert on Sunday, July 7 at 7pm.

Today, Australian singer-songwriter Phebe Starr has premiered a new video with BlackBook for her tender yet powerful lead single “TOUCH XXX”. Starr's indomitable vocals and electro beats boom, while nostalgia for her past is shown between cuts of roses and dark shadows. With neo-noir elements, the video depicts love as it is lost and how broken relationships can become a fragile shell of something once so strong. Starr recently announced her Ice Tea Liberace EP due out August 30 on PALACE, a 4 song EP featuring rebellious indie-pop about losing innocence and coming to terms with growing up. Initially debuted via NYLON, the song continues to generate positive buzz for the EP.

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts announced today that for its 10th Denver engagement, the 2019 North American Tour of CATS has broken the box office record for the highest-gross of an eight-performance engagement at The Buell Theatre. The production grossed $1,724,149.75 during the show's April 24-28, 2019 engagement, creating an estimated economic impact of more than $6.2 million to Denver from travel, hotels, restaurants, parking and other businesses patronized by both theatergoers and production staff. This figure is based upon a Broadway League report which found that, on average, when a Broadway show is in a city, it contributes an economic impact of roughly 3.6 times the gross ticket sales to the local metropolitan area's economy.
