The young stars for Cape Town City Ballet's production of THE NUTCRACKER have been announced!

American Ballet Theatre’s 2023 Summer season at the Metropolitan Opera House, June 22 – July 22, will feature the New York Premiere of Tony Award winner Christopher Wheeldon’s Like Water for Chocolate.

Cape Town City Ballet heralds the start of its bumper summer programme with captivating festive season favourite THE NUTCRACKER.

The Kyiv City Ballet, under the artistic direction of Ivan Kozlov, has announced additional cities in their U.S tour, running from September 15 to October 26, 2022. The Fall tour is a US premiere and marks the Kyiv City Ballet’s first United States performances ever.

Sarasota Opera announces an added title in its “HD at the Opera House” series with a screening of “Der Rosenkavalier” on Sunday, September 25. This historic Salzburg Festival production stars legendary soprano Elisabeth Schwarzkopf. Sarasota Opera also rescheduled a film of Verdi's Rigoletto to September 11 (from May) with tickets for these “HD at the Opera House” films on sale for $22, and $20 for Sarasota Opera subscribers.  

Casting for the final three weeks of American Ballet Theatre’s 2022 Summer season at the Metropolitan Opera House has been announced. 

It’s been nearly two years since the National Ballet of Canada had planned on premiering their new SWAN LAKE, but in this case late is definitely better than never. The stunning new production, directed by former Artistic Director Karen Kain, has finally arrived on the Four Seasons Centre’s stage.

Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s (PBT) popular program Open Air: A Series in Celebration of the Performing Arts returns to the city June 9 – 12 at a new location on the Allegheny Riverfront in Sharpsburg (1 19th Street, Sharpsburg). The series will include performances by the PBT Company as well as local performing arts organizations.

Hope Muir, Joan and Jerry Lozinski Artistic Director of The National Ballet of Canada announced the principal casting for the world premiere of Swan Lake, directed and staged by Karen Kain. Sarasota Opera has announced the lineup for the 2022 summer movie series: HD at the Opera House and Classic Movies at the Opera House. HD at the Opera House featuring filmed performances of opera and ballet from around the world will open on Sunday, May 22nd at 1:30 p.m. with Giuseppe Verdi's Rigoletto from the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden in London, with tickets at $22, and $20 for Sarasota Opera subscribers.
