BroadwayWorld has a first look at Barrington Stage Company's THE ROYAL FAMILY OF BROADWAY. The show is now on stage through July 7 on the Boyd-Quinson Mainstage.  See the cast take their opening night bows below!

Paper Mill Playhouse presents the East Coast premiere of Half Time, a new musical, with book by Bob Martin and Chad Beguelin, music by Matthew Sklar, lyrics by Nell Benjamin and additional music by Marvin Hamlisch and Ester Dean. Half Time began performances May 31, 2018 for a limited engagement through Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, NJ. Last night was the show's opening night. Leslie Kritzer joins the cast of DUETS with The Write Teacher(s) Volume 6 at Feinstein's/54 Below on June 22, 9:30pm.

Broadway stars Major Attaway, Catherine Brunell, Leslie Kritzer and James Moye will form a one-night-only cast for When Broadway Goes Dark, Van Dyk Goes Live, a concert to support Alzheimer's awareness Monday, June 4 at 7pm at Van Dyk Park Place.

Producers Zach Laks, Sarah Galli, and Joseph Lucius in association with Form Theatricals announce that due to scheduling conflicts, the Joe's pub production of LIZA '79, conceived and directed by Ben Rimalower, starring Larry Owens is postponed.  Originally scheduled for performances in June, new dates and casting will be announced at a later date.

Together John and his director Broadway wannabe Ben Rimalower must battle their egos, demons and John's psychosomatic laryngitis in this epic meeting of the minds. You'll laugh with them, at them and despite them in a show that promises to leave you feeling great about your own mental health.

BLOODY BLOODY JESSICA FLETCHER: A MUSICAL PARODY, a new musical with an original score by Keith Varney and a book by Kevon Zak, Josh Lamon and Phillip Taratula, will get an industry reading on April 24. The presentation will star Beth Leavel, Josh Lamon, Phillip Taratula, Leslie Kritzer, Randy Blair, Emily Walton, and Gretchen Wylder.

Comedians Lisa Davey and Leslie Kritzer (Broadway's Something Rotten, Legally Blonde, viral video "Taco Truck Invasion") return to The Duplex Cabaret Theatre (61 Christopher St.) with their series Comedy Soiree on March 31, 2018 at 7pm.  The show will also feature Aparna Nancherla, Chloe Hilliard, and Christi Chiello.

Two teams of three will go head-to-head telling stories, some of which may not be true---it is up to the other team to guess, Truth or Lie. Featuring musical direction by William TN Hall, panelists will defend their stories by all means possible, including song and dance. Hosted by MAC Award winner Amy Wolk, I Only Have Lies For You is presented monthly at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in New York City, and is being recorded as a podcast, which can be found on iTunes.

Eric Petersen, star of Broadway's School of Rock, TV's "Kirstie," Madison Square Garden's Elf, and this season's Broadway show Escape To Margaritaville, makes a triumphant return to Feinstein's/54 Below after his sold out December show.In this show, Eric will serenade audiences with the hits that cemented Frank Sinatra as a superstar. Along with his swinging band, Eric will lead audiences through film history of Frank Sinatra and the songs that he recorded for those films. While known as a recording artist, Sinatra appeared in over 50 films and sang in many of them.

Composer Scott Frankel and lyricist Michael Korie, the celebrated team behind Broadway musicals Grey Gardens and War Paint, are two of today's top contributors of new standards to the American musical theater repertoire. On Saturday night the duo was celebrated with a special evening at the Appel Room as a part of Lincoln Center's American Songbook series.
