IAMA Theatre Company Will Present the West Coast Premiere of Musical Comedy FOUND Starring Jonah Platt

'Dear Mom summer camp isn't fun anymore, everyone is dying.' 'Dear Ron things haven't been the same since we found out we were related.' IAMA Theatre Company presents the West Coast premiere of Found, a new musical inspired by Davy Rothbart's popular Found magazine, which features scores of actual discarded notes and letters that have been 'found' in the real world by everyday people.

Story Pirates & Friends to Hold Benefit Performance on March 15th at NYU Skirball

The Story Pirates are a group of top comedians, musicians, best-selling authors, and world-class teachers who come together with a single mission: to celebrate the words and ideas of kids. Best known for their podcast, which tops the family charts and has been downloaded more than 10 million times, Story Pirates is also a leading supporter of arts education. This special NYC celebration will include Story Pirates 'greatest hits,' along with fresh new musical sketch comedy based on ideas from the audience. All five of the Story Pirates Podcast hosts will perform: Peter McNerney, Meghan O'Neill, Lee Overtree, Rachel Wenitsky, and Nimene Wureh.

Moritz Von Stuelpnagel Will Direct West Coast Premiere Of New Musical FOUND For IAMA In 2020

IAMA Theatre Company has revealed the mystery title of the new musical promised in the company's 2019-20 season announcement: Tony-nominated director Moritz von Stuelpnagel (Broadway's Hand to God, Present Laughter, Bernhardt/Hamlet; off-Broadway's Teenage Dick) will direct the West Coast premiere of Found: A New Musical Comedy, with a book by Hunter Bell and Lee Overtree and music and original lyrics by Eli Bolin.
