Broadway sensation Ilario Grant will lead the Brisbane season of the Olivier and Tony Award-winning MJ THE MUSICAL, following his celebrated run in Melbourne.

Tsehay Hawkins will appear in the Melbourne production of MJ The Musical, making her theatrical stage debut. MJ THE MUSICAL must close at Melbourne’s Her Majesty’s Theatre in March.

After thrilling more than 5 million audience members worldwide, producers of MJ THE MUSICAL confirmed that the Olivier and four-time Tony Award-winning musical will open in Brisbane at QPAC's Lyric Theatre in March 2026.

MJ THE MUSICAL, the Olivier and four-time Tony Award-winning musical, will play in Melbourne at Her Majesty's Theatre from September 2025. Tickets for the Melbourne season will be available for pre-sale from Monday 26 May 2025, with Melburnians encouraged to join the waitlist.
