As the 2023 Festival draws to a close, Glyndebourne has announced the programme for 2024, when the company marks its 90th anniversary year.

The GRAMMY®-nominated early music ensemble Ars Lyrica Houston celebrates 20 Years of Magic, a 2023/24 season celebrating two decades of music-making, with six subscription programs - including a fully staged Handel opera - and two CD releases on the Acis label.

Single tickets for the San Francisco Symphony’s 2023–24 season go on sale Saturday, July 15 starting 10am via the Davies Symphony Hall box office and will be available online and via phone beginning 12pm the same day.

This 20th anniversary season comprises six subscription programs, including a fully staged Handel opera, and features world-class soloists alongside a core period-instrument ensemble.

Grammy-nominated music organization Ars Lyrica Houston welcomes three young opera stars to perform Handel's Clori, Tirsi, e Fileno with full Baroque orchestra on Sunday, March 26th at 4 pm in Zilkha Hall. This concert will also be available to watch digitally through high-quality livestream.

On January 13, 2023, Houston Grand Opera kicks off its winter repertoire with Tony Award-winning director Michael Grandage's vibrant production of Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, which re-sets the class-conscious comedy in late '60s Francoist Spain.

The Cincinnati May Festival has announced complete details for  its 150th anniversary in 2023, including programs and featured soloists for performances in April and  May 2023 and local artist and ensemble participants for its 25 for 25: A New Time for Choral Music commissioning project. 

The Cleveland Orchestra is the first American orchestra to join Symphony's concert streaming series, 'Symphony Night Live.' Symphony brings together music from the best orchestras in the world and delivers a rich and contextual look into symphonic music, through 'Symphony Night Live.'

On Sunday evenings this November, Cincinnati Opera will partner with 90.9 WGUC, Cincinnati's classical public radio station, to broadcast select productions from its 2022 Summer Festival. Each broadcast will begin at 8 p.m. ET. You can listen on air at 90.9 FM and online at wguc.org.

Carnegie Hall has announced that conductor Harry Bicket has agreed to step in for Bernard Labadie, leading the Orchestra of St. Luke's on Thursday, November 17 at 8:00 p.m. Mr. Labadie has withdrawn from this performance due to planned recovery from surgery. Additionally, soprano Elena Villalón will replace previously announced Lauren Snouffer for this concert. 

The Handel and Haydn Society Orchestra and Chorus will showcase the radiant depth of JS Bach's musical genius with Glories of Bach on October 7 + 9, 2022 at Symphony Hall. Jonathan Cohen, founder and artistic director of Arcangelo, will lead the H+H Orchestra, replacing Bernard Labadie who withdrew due to health issues. H+H will bring its signature style and historically informed approach to three works by Bach and a pair of works by one of Bach's personal heroes Dietrich Buxtehude, including the H+H premiere of his emotional Cantata, “Nimm von uns, Herr.”

Houston Grand Opera's mainstage 2022–23 season has something for everyone and is comprised of 46 performances across seven productions.

After opening his 15th season as Music Director of the Pittsburgh Symphony with a gala benefit featuring Joshua Bell (Sep 17), Honeck makes his American operatic debut with Mozart's Idomeneo at New York's Metropolitan Opera (Sep 28–Oct 20); returns to the podiums of the Chicago Symphony (Nov 17–20) and San Francisco Symphony (June 1–3); and makes his Juilliard Orchestra debut (Oct 17).

This July 6 through 10, Cincinnati Opera continues its 2022 Summer Festival with two uplifting productions: the world premiere of Fierce (July 6, 9, 10 at SCPA's Corbett Theater), with music by William Menefield and libretto by Sheila Williams, and Gilbert and Sullivan's hilarious The Pirates of Penzance (July 7, 8, 10 at Cincinnati Music Hall).

Houston Grand Opera has announced its 2022–23 season, featuring a new production of Dame Ethel Smyth's rarely-performed masterpiece The Wreckers, the triumphant return of HGO-commissioned mariachi opera El Milagro del Recuerdo, the U.S. premieres of Opéra National de Paris and Royal Opera House's production of Werther and the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía of Valencia's production of Salome, and beloved HGO classics La traviata, The Marriage of Figaro, and Tosca.
