All Roads Theatre Company has announced its inaugural season at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood, beginning with the World Premiere Musical ONE FOR MY BABY, with a score by the incomparable Harold Arlen and headlined by Broadway stars LANA GORDON and LUBA MASON.

Stephen DeAngelis will continue his ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with the next edition in his monthly residency of AT THIS PERFORMANCE… 

Lillias White will reprise her role as ‘Hermes’ in the Tony and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical, Hadestown on Broadway. The Tony Award-winning actress will return to the underworld beginning Tuesday, October 22nd.

Grammy Award winner Allison Russell will join the cast of Hadestown on Broadway. Hadestown follows two intertwining love stories — that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of King Hades and his wife Persephone. Learn more about the production and see how to purchase tickets.

Back by popular demand for a limited time is the multiple Tony and Grammy Awards winning new musical Hadestown - music, lyrics, and book by Anaïs Mitchell, directed by Rachel Chavkin - for a limited run at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre until May 26. This modern, politically relevant tale combines two classic Greek legends - the stories of Hades and Persephone; and Orpheus and Eurydice - that is sure to lure in audiences like a siren song.

Hadestown, the Tony Award-winning musical, has continued to enchant audiences with its unique blend of myth, music, and storytelling. Recently, a performance at Clowes Memorial Hall offered a glimpse into this underworld tale, showcasing both the production's prowess and the talent of its cast.

The show will feature standbys, understudies, and alternates from various Broadway hits like DAYS OF WINE AND ROSES, BACK TO THE FUTURE-THE MUSICAL, and more.

HADESTOWN, the winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards® including Best New Musical and the 2020 Grammy® Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will be performed as part of the 23–24 BROADWAY IN BIRMINGHAM series and will take the BJCC Concert Hall stage March 19–24, 2024.

“Because here is the thing, to know how it ends and still begin to sing it again, as if it might turn out this time.” Every Broadway fan can relate to this sentiment. We watch musicals and /or plays and brave the second act heartbreaks and conflict. We know exactly how it will end each time, but we come back every time. Hadestown is no different.

I have seen over 90 shows either on Broadway or as part of a Broadway Tour. I have a database where I have ranked them in order that I like the show. Obviously with 90 shows to get in the top ten is quite a feat. I would see a show in my top 10 ANY time I could. Now to make it in the top 5, well that has to be a show beyond compare. Hadestown is one such show!
