Jamibeth Margolis has been a professional casting director in New York for 20 years. She was with Johnson-Liff Casting, Cameron Mackintosh, and Margolis-Seay Casting and is now out on her own as a freelance casting director. Previous credits include the Broadway and National Touring Companies of such hits as Les Miserables, The Phantom Of The Opera, Miss Saigon, Cats, and Jane Eyre as well as two dozen other shows on Broadway. She also currently casts for Off Broadway, National Touring Companies and shows for prominent regional theaters and all of the major theater festivals in NYC. New Paradigm Theatre (NPT) announces that Cameron Burrill has won the role of 'Conrad Birdie' out of 150 applicants and seven finalists. At NPT's May Gala audience members were treated to the live callbacks of seven men vying for the role and their votes, American Idol- style. Finalists commuted from all over Connecticut as well as New York and Boston to compete for the title role in Bye Bye Birdie, being produced by NPT Aug 16th and 17th at Black Rock Church in Fairfield CT.

This week's Konversations with Keeme features Lieutenant Thomas Roncinske. He's a 29 year veteran of the Norwalk Police department and the Division Commander, directing a team of two sergeants, four investigators and eight School Resource Officers. He is responsible for the investigations of all serious crimes perpetrated against children, juveniles and the elderly and for coordinating school security for the Norwalk School District. He is also responsible for coordinating the preparation & follow up of Juvenile Court cases. He is also the Commanding Officer of The ESU Scuba Team and is an Adjunct college professor at Sacred Heart University. The Lieutenant will be taking part in our 'Finding your voice in self defense' workshop on Feb. 3rd.
