Theatre Calgary's Artistic Director Stafford Arima (Allegiance, Broadway; Carrie, Off-Broadway revival; Altar Boyz, Off-Broadway), along with Solo Productions' Mary Young Leckie (Maudie, Mary's Wedding), have just announced the creative team and casting for The Louder We Get, based on the true story of Marc Hall, with book by Kent Staines, lyrics by Akiva Romer-Segal, and music by Colleen Dauncey.

This holiday season, a delightful production of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT is on stage at Hamilton's Theatre Aquarius. This production is loads of fun for the entire family, and makes for the perfect holiday excursion.

Due to popular demand, the Segal Centre is thrilled to announce that three performances have been added to the world premiere production of Prom Queen: The Musical. Produced by Mary Young Leckie and the Segal Centre, Prom Queen: The Musical tells the inspiring, true story of Marc Hall, the Ontario teenager who took his Catholic School Board to court when they refused to let him attend prom with his boyfriend. This new, award-winning Canadian musical directed by Marcia Kash, written by Kent Staines, with lyrics by Akiva Romer-Segal and music by Colleen Dauncey will now run on the Segal Stage until November 23, 2016.

Following the success of their past original productions, the Segal Centre for Performing Arts is proud to present the World Premiere of a new Canadian musical inspired by the incredible, true story of Marc Hall, the Ontario teenager who took his Catholic School Board to court when they refused to let him attend prom with his boyfriend. The Vancouver premiere of Disney's THE LION KING opens tonight, Thursday, July 15 at 7:30pm at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre for a limited engagement of four weeks through Sunday, August 8. In Vancouver, THE LION KING plays Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 7:30pm, Sunday evening 6:30pm, Saturday matinees at 2pm, Sunday matinees at 1pm with an additional matinee performance on Wednesday, August 4 at 2pm. There will be no 6:30pm performance on Sunday, August 8.
