The Television Academy Foundation today announced it will present “ The Power of TV: Homelessness in Storytelling” in partnership with KIA Motors America on Oct. 27.

The voice was just as bright and clear, but belonged to the super-talented Broadway actress, Capathia Jenkins. She was singing her heart out about the love she has for the children of Covenant House in New York City.

Rachel Brosnahan, Audra McDonald, Ariana DeBose, Adrienne  Warren, Rachel Zegler, Jason Ralph, Sam Pinkleton, Diana DiMenna, Rachel Sussman, Alison Cimmet, Shereen Pimentel, Kyle Selig, Jessica Phillips, Judy Kuhn, and more to sleep out a?oevirtuallya?? and join together for a live broadcast starting at 8 PM ET and ending at 8am ET the next morning.

Covenant House announced today that Oscar winner Morgan Freeman is the latest star set to join A Night of Covenant House Stars, a May 18th concert to benefit Covenant House, the international charity providing housing, food and healthcare to children and youth facing homelessness in 6 countries.

This special concert event, to be held Monday, May 18th at 8:00 PM ET, will be co-hosted by six-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald and '60 Minutes' correspondent John Dickerson, both members of the Covenant House Board of Directors, and will feature performances and appearances by a superstar lineup.

Stars in The House, benefiting The Actors Fund, continued today (2pm) with guest Host Sierra Boggess joined by Summer Boggess, Brian Hertz, Liz Robertson, Manon Taris, and Rachel Brosnahan.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the growing need to ensure the 4.2 million young people across the country experiencing homelessness receive the shelter, support, and services they need, Broadway stars will participate in nonprofit Covenant House's first national digital Sleep Out America on April 24. Others, including Rachel Brosnahan, Adrienne Warren, Ariana DeBose, and Stephanie J. Block, will Sleep Out in the coming months.

The Impulse Company, the UK's home of Meisner-rooted performance techniques, will present an afternoon showcase by the works of contemporary and classical playwrights on Wednesday, December 4th at the Tristan Bates Theatre in central London.

On August 19, 2019, more than 60 caring members from the Broadway and Hollywood community will be sleeping on the streets of New York City in support of young people overcoming homelessness at the Covenant House Sleep Out: Stage and Screen.

Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG award-winning actress Rachel Brosnahan will be honored by Covenant House at A Night of Broadway Stars on Monday, June 3rd at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall, Broadway at 60th Street, New York City, for her advocacy on behalf of young people facing homelessness.

Before a sellout crowd of over 1,000 at the Rose Hall Jazz at Lincoln Center, Covenant House honored Broadway stars Audra McDonald and Capathia Jenkins for their commitment to the young people at Covenant House at A Night of Broadway Stars that raised over $2 million to help end youth homelessness.
