HB Studio To Partner With American Soundboard To Present Readings Of U.S. Congressional Hearings

This coming season, AMERICAN SCOREBOARD, a series of actor-performed, verbatim readings of actual U.S. Congressional hearing transcripts, will once again join forces with HB STUDIO to perform four readings featuring HB students and alumni. The series will kick-off on Monday, September 16 at 7pm at the HB Playwrights Theatre (124 Bank Street) with a performance of testimony given on March 6, 2019 before the U.S. House Judiciary Committee on Protecting Dreamers and TPS (Temporary Protected Status) recipients. Admission to the reading is free and reservations can be made at hbstudio.eventbrite.com.

Producer Diana DiMenna (The Great Comet, Three Tall Women) is proud to present the return engagement of The Public Theater production of Black Light. Performances began at the Greenwich House Theater (27 Barrow Street) on September 24 and will continue through December 31, with an opening night set for October 10.
REBEL VERSES Begins Thursday at Vineyard Theatre

Vineyard Theatre and Developing Artists will partner again to present Developing Artists' REBEL VERSES Youth Arts Festival, Thursday through Saturday August 9-18 at Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15th St.). Since the festival's inception in 2001, REBEL VERSES has provided young artists, ages 13-19, with the opportunity to collaborate and network with their peers and prominent artists, and to showcase their original work. This two-week event, now in its second season Off-Broadway at the Vineyard Theatre, will feature over one hundred artists and performers from ten young-artist companies hailing from all five boroughs of New York City and beyond.
