Atlantic Theater Company has announced casting for African Caribbean MixFest, a series of free readings co-produced by playwright Guadalís Del Carmen and playwright, director and Artistic Director of the Young Vic Kwame Kwei-Armah, that will run virtually Tuesday, January 19th through Friday, January 29th.

Molière in the Park's live stream of Christina Anderson's Pen/Man/Ship, directed by MIP's Founding Artistic Director Lucie Tiberghien, opens tonight at 7pm EST.

Molière in the Park, co-presenting with the French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF), and in partnership with the Prospect Park Alliance, LeFrak Center at Lakeside, will present a live stream of Christina Anderson's Pen/Man/Ship, directed by Molière in the Park's Founding Artistic Director Lucie Tiberghien.

This coming season, AMERICAN SCOREBOARD, a series of actor-performed, verbatim readings of actual U.S. Congressional hearing transcripts, will once again join forces with HB STUDIO to perform four readings featuring HB students and alumni.  The series will kick-off on Monday, September 16 at 7pm at the HB Playwrights Theatre (124 Bank Street) with a performance of testimony given on March 6, 2019 before the U.S. House Judiciary Committee on Protecting Dreamers and TPS (Temporary Protected Status) recipients.   Admission to the reading is free and reservations can be made at hbstudio.eventbrite.com.

Set in Reading, PA, Lynn Nottage's play tells the story of what happens to a group of friends when their union jobs are in jeopardy.

Producer Diana DiMenna (The Great Comet, Three Tall Women) is proud to present the return engagement of The Public Theater production of Black Light. Performances began at the Greenwich House Theater (27 Barrow Street) on September 24 and will continue through December 31, with an opening night set for October 10.

Vineyard Theatre and Developing Artists will partner again to present Developing Artists' REBEL VERSES Youth Arts Festival, Thursday through Saturday August 9-18 at Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15th St.). Since the festival's inception in 2001, REBEL VERSES has provided young artists, ages 13-19, with the opportunity to collaborate and network with their peers and prominent artists, and to showcase their original work. This two-week event, now in its second season Off-Broadway at the Vineyard Theatre, will feature over one hundred artists and performers from ten young-artist companies hailing from all five boroughs of New York City and beyond.
