Based on a true story and composed of verbatim interviews from those directly involved, The OK Trenton Project, presented by Passage Theatre Company in Trenton, New Jersey, is an experience that explores the role art plays in the community and the consequences faced when it’s taken away.  The world premiere production runs at the Mill Hill Playhouse (205 E. Front Street, Trenton) now through February 27, 2022.

Quintessence Theatre Group, Philadelphia's professional classic repertory theatre, is set to livestream Georg Büchner's Danton's Death on November 2, as part of Shout into the Void: A Virtual Play Reading Festival.

Walnut Street Theatre continues its landmark 208th season with Oscar Wilde's classic comedy, THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST. Directed by Bob Carlton, this production begins previews on March 14th, opens on March 22nd and runs through April 30th on the Walnut's Mainstage.

Nationally esteemed theatre-maker Joseph Hanreddy, former Artistic Director of Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, directs a cast of 19 in his new version of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility on the Leonard C. Haas Stage at People's Light from February 10 to March 20, 2016.

Shakespeare in Clark Park celebrates its 10th Anniversary with The Winter's Tale, Shakespeare's tragicomedy of family and forgiveness. Director Kittson O'Neill (InterAct Theatre Company, Hedgerow Theatre) helms the company of professional actors along with a chorus of over 30 Philadelphia-area children. The Winter's Tale opens under the stars in 'the Bowl' of Clark Park today, July 29 and runs through August 2. All performances are at 7 p.m.

Community and collaboration are the watchwords of Bristol Riverside Theatre's production of Henrik Ibsen's An Enemy of the People, running tonight, May 12-May 31. Co-directed by Susan D. Atkinson and Amy Kaissar, the high-voltage drama, which concludes BRT's Mainstage Season, features an ensemble of professional actors Keith Baker, Kevin Bergen, Mark Collmer, Brian Brillinger, Laura Giknis, Marc LeVasseur, Shamus Hunter McCarty, P. Brendan Mulvey and Sabrina Proffitt performing alongside Bucks County community members. The production is supported in part by a generous grant from PECO.

Corinna Sowers inaugurated a cabaret showcase of her students at the Metropolitan Room last night and Broadwayworld was there. Some talented youngsters from her NiCori Studio performed for a packed room which consisted of many family and friends of these rising stars. Singers presented in the show were Talia Wynzel, Zoe Gelman, Julia Maskin, Samy Cordero, Lauren Barr, and Kevin Bergen. Also performing was the shows host Corinna Sowers. Deborah Martin was at the piano and Nicholas Adler was managing the house.

As the country braces for the possibility of its first female president next year, Delaware Theatre Company's latest production of Ingmar Bergman's NORA is as timely as ever. Adapted from Henrik Ibsen's A DOLL'S HOUSE, NORA streamlines the story of Nora Helmer, her traditional husband Torvold Helmer, the Helmer's oldest family friend Dr. Rank, Nora's childhood friend Mrs. Linde, and the mysterious Krogstad.
