On Sunday and Monday nights, Broadway/television star Anita Gillette had a ball celebrating Irving Berlin. Of course, she sang many Berlin standards, and a few unearthed gems. But that's not what made the evening extra-special. You see, Anita had a real-life friendship with the composer. It all started during the creation of a Broadway show called Mr. President, written by Berlin, and starring Gillette.

Constantine Maroulis is a world-renowned actor, producer, singer and songwriter best known for his Tony-nominated performance in Rock of Ages and his epic run as a finalist during the heyday of 'American Idol.' At his first Birdland solo outing, he performed an intimate evening of originals, Broadway favorites and stripped-down rock & roll classics like you've never heard them before. Joshua Stephen Kartes was musical director of the concert.
Maxine Linehan brought a St. Patrick's EVE pride in her Irish roots to the Feinstein's/54 Below stage with her show "One: The Songs of U2". A veteran of numerous performances at the club, this was her 3rd incarnation of the tribute show in the venue.
