The Los Angeles Philharmonic has announced its 99th summer season at the Hollywood Bowl, showcasing a roster of world-class artists ranging from classical and pops to jazz, rock, and world music. The season features the return of legendary Bowl favorites, celebrated artists and conductors making their Bowl debuts, and the premieres of new LA Phil-commissioned works.

'A solid relationship is when someone has your back and will stand by your side no matter what,' explains Boney James about the title of his new CD. 'Solid is a word that has a few meanings, but this one really resonated with me and became the theme of the record.'

Dave Koz's music and multitalented friends lit up the Kravis Center For The Performing Arts last night on all levels. It was a spectacular presentation of swinging holiday music and multi media lighting effects that had the West Palm Beach audience dazzled during the entire concert. Sam Moore and Dave Prater – the groundbreaking duo, Sam & Dave, who brought their gospel roots to Soul music, were one of the primary chart stars at the Stax and Atlantic labels in the '60s. Bringing the passion of call and response to their wailing soul side, the duo were honored by The Recording Academy as one of the recipients of the Special Merit Awards, The Lifetime Achievement Award in May in Los Angeles.

In collaboration with PBS' 'Great Performances' series, the Recording Academy presents 'GRAMMY Salute To Music Legends®,' the fourth annual all-star concert offering a primetime spotlight for the Academy's 2019 Special Merit Awards recipients. Last night the Grammy Award-winning songstress, Fantasia heated up the stage with a debut performance of “Looking For You,” from her forthcoming album Sketchbook. She later joined the judge's panel, kicking off an emotional night full of surprises which ended with Joshua Copeland and Melvin Crispell, III moving forward to the finale episode airing on August 25, 2019 at 8PM ET/PT. Today, the NAACP announced that Anthony Anderson is set to return as host for the 50th NAACP Image Awards. Anderson is a two-time NAACP Image Awards Winner for his role on blackish, and will be hosting the show for the 6th consecutive year. Winners for the 50th NAACP Image Awards will be revealed during the two-hour LIVE TV special airing on TV One on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 9pm/8c from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

 Legendary Grammy Award winner DIONNE WARWICK will release her first new album in 5 years, “SHE'S BACK”, on May 10th. Produced by her son Damon Elliot, the album will be released via his Kind Music and Entertainment One (eOne). The lead-off single will be an updated version of the Burt Bacharach/Hal David classic, “What The World Needs Now Is Love”, which Dionne recorded during the 1960s.

Last night, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's 60th Anniversary holiday season at New York City Center kicked off with a star-studded Opening Night Gala Benefit performance and party led by Artistic Director Robert Battle, with iconic film stars Angela Bassett and Cicely Tyson as honorary chairs. Prudential Financial received the Ailey Legacy Honor for their generous support and commitment to Ailey, especially its education and community programs. The award was presented by Battle and Christopher Taylor, an alumnus of the inaugural AileyCamp Newark (2011) and a current scholarship student at The Ailey School, and accepted by Lata Reddy, Senior Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion and Impact at Prudential Financial.

Carnegie Hall today announced additional guest artists for A Night of Inspiration, an evening of uplifting music on Saturday, December 15 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage. Under the direction of acclaimed producer, composer, and music director Ray Chew and co-produced with his wife and business partner, Vivian Scott Chew, the exciting program features an all-star roster of artists including Regina Belle, Shirley Caesar, Koryn Hawthorne, Adrienne Bailon Houghton, Israel Houghton, Kenny Lattimore, Ledisi, Patricio Molina, Iyanla Vanzant, Bebe Winans and The String Queens. The song is at #8 bullet, right on the heels of singles from Toni Braxton, Peabo Bryson, Keith Sweat, Ne-Yo, and Tamia. 'Stay On Your Mind' features production by Dra-kkar Wesley (aka Madicin) and appears on Kenny Lattimore's new album 'Vulnerable', released via Liger Enterprises and record executive guru Ron Spaulding.
