The Call to Unite is a 24-hour global livestream event that will unite people across the world to celebrate our shared humanity. 

Continuing its mission of bringing the arts to the public during the coronavirus crisis, Gold Coast Arts has partnered with several top film distributors and filmmakers to bring great films to viewers as part of its virtual at-home screening series. 

Yale Repertory Theatre (James Bundy, Artistic Director; Victoria Nolan, Managing Director) presents A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry, directed by Carl Cofield, at the University Theatre (222 York Street), March 13a?"April 4. Opening Night is March 19.  

Nearly 500 arts organisations, human rights charities, schools, colleges and universities came together in June to present events and activities across the UK; whilst international partners and individuals also flew Ai Weiwei's flag to mark the 70th anniversary of the UN Declaration of Human Rights.

God Bless us, everyone! My childhood came back to me while witnessing the holiday classic A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. This annual production by Actors Theatre of Louisville hit all the high notes on opening night and delivered a magical feast for the eyes, ears, and heart. After four decades this production still thrills and delivers the message of redemption and kindness from the past, present, and future. I was so happy to experience it among many families and I especially enjoyed hearing and seeing children's reactions to the show.

In a unique collaboration, a wide-ranging group of arts organisations and human rights charities commissioned Ai Weiwei to design a new flag in response to the real and present dangers of a world changing at break-neck speed and a community that has forgotten why human rights are so important, to offer hope and to educate generations to come about the absolute importance of universal human rights. Everyone across the country is invited to Fly The Flag for Human Rights between 24 and 30 June 2019 in events around the UK, with over 150 organisations involved.

Today the full programme of events has been announced around Fly The Flag, a major new project marking the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and brand new images of Ai Weiwei with young people have been released.

With a picnic hosted by the Board of Trustees, the Contemporary American Theater Festival at Shepherd University welcomes 2019 company members. Attended by CATF partners, donors, and community members, this annual event is the first time CATF's 2019 company comes to celebrate the six new plays they are about to create. SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical will close on Broadway Sunday, December 30, 2018. A North American Tour will launch on September 30, 2019, playing dozens of cities across the US and Canada, including Los Angeles, Nashville, Rochester, Washington DC and West Palm Beach.

There was no shortage of HOT STUFF when the cast of Summer, The Donna Summer Musical visited Broadway Sessions recently. The multi faceted cast, including Storm Lever, Afra Hines, Wonu Ogunfowora, Anissa Felix, Jody Reynard, Ken Robinson, Kristin Yancy, Judith Franklin, Aaron Krohn shared their favorite tunes that went way beyond disco. Audience members had the opportunity to learn choreography from the hit show and to interact with the cast. One audience member even dazzled the cast with a custom gown made entirely of Summer 'fans'! BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida, Footloose, Dance Captain Dance Attack web series) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.
