It was announced today that a new block of tickets for COME FROM AWAY on Broadway are now on sale through November 3, 2019 at Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street).

Today, October 21, COME FROM AWAY will become the longest running Canadian musical in Broadway history, with its the 675th performance. The record was previously held by The Drowsy Chaperone, which played 674 performances before closing in 2007.

As BroadwayWorld recently reported, The New Group will soon present Clueless, The Musical by Amy Heckerling. This world premiere production, with choreography by Kelly Devine, directed by Kristin Hanggi, features Ephie Aardema, Lori Alan, Sara Andreas, Gilbert L. Bailey II, Dove Cameron, Will Connolly, Danielle Marie Gonzalez, Tessa Grady, Talya Groves, Chris Hoch, L'ogan J'ones, Darius Jordan Lee, Justin Mortelliti, Brett Thiele, Dave Thomas Brown and Zurin Villanueva; with Scenic Design by Beowulf Boritt; Costume Design by Amy Clark; Lighting Design by Jason Lyons; Sound Design by Gareth Owen; Projection Design by Darrel Maloney; Music Supervision, Arrangement and Orchestration by Ethan Popp and Music Direction by Matthew Smedal.

The Tony Award-winning musical Come From Away had its official launch on October 10 at London's Canada House - where the full cast was unveiled! The show will have its European premiere at The Abbey Theatre this December, before transferring to The Phoenix Theatre in the West End.

The CBC reports that tickets for the COME FROM AWAY concert performances sold out in record time, with both a wait to purchase online, as well as lines around the block at the Holy Heart Theatre in St. John's, Newfoundland.

The national tour of Come From Away opened last week at The 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle. Becky Gulsvig, who plays Captain Beverley Bass, among others, recently performed the song 'Me and the Sky' on K5 News. Following the performance, she joined the real-life Beverley Bass to talk more about the story's background.

The made-in-Canada phenomenon that is COME FROM AWAY is coming to St. John's. The show that has become the toast of Broadway and Toronto, will play eight benefit performances in a concert version at Holy Heart Theatre from January 23 to 27, 2019. Tickets will go on sale Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 10 AM (NDT) exclusively through Holy Heart Theatre ticket channels.

Casting has been announced for COME FROM AWAY the Tony Award-winning musical which will land in Dublin for its long-awaited European premiere at the Abbey Theatre from 6 December 2018 to 19 January 2019 before transferring to London's West End next year for performances at the Phoenix Theatre from 30 January 2019.

Amy Heckerling takes us back to 90s Beverly Hills with this musical version of her beloved film Clueless, a modern spin on Jane Austen's Emma. With her singular voice, she gives us a score that reimagines 90s hits into ingenious parodies and yearning monologues for her lovesick characters. Director Kristin Hanggi (Rock of Ages) and choreographer Kelly Devine (Come from Away) drive this fresh take on the story of Cher (Dove Cameron - 'Liv and Maddie,' Descendants, Hairspray Live!), a girl so psychotically optimistic she can't see that her bungling attempts at playing Cupid disguise her own fashion-plated isolation.

A resident of Gander, Newfoundland, the town made famous by the hit musical Come From Away tuned into Kelly and Ryan today to play trivia and to tell her own true tale from the historic events in Gander, following the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. Check out the video below! 

La Jolla Playhouse has announced that Jeanna de Waal will portray the title role in its upcoming world-premiere musical Diana, by the Tony Award-winning Memphis team of Joe DiPietro (book and lyrics) and David Bryan (music and lyrics), directed by Playhouse Artistic Director and 2017 Tony Award winner Christopher Ashley and choreographed by Tony nomineeKelly Devine. The production will run February 19 - March 31, 2019 in the Playhouse's Mandell Weiss Theatre. The complete cast and creative team will be announced at a later date.

Welcome to the Rock, Jim Walton! It was just announced that the Broadway veteran will join the company of Come From Away as 'Nick' beginning November 13. Jim replaces Lee MacDougal, who is a part of the original company.

Birdland Theater was proud to present Broadway leading ladies Jenn Colella and Chilina Kennedy in a song cycle co-written and composed by Ms. Kennedy, and co-written by Eric Holmes, on Monday, September 10. This one-night-only event was presented by Eclipse Theater Company.
