The smiling, bobbing head and swaying shoulders of the self-proclaimed Parrothead who accompanied this Jimmy Buffett neophyte to the breezy fun new jukebox musical comedy, ESCAPE TO MARGARITAVILLE, seemed proof enough that fans of the Mississippi-born singer/songwriter known for carefree Caribbean-inspired melodies should have a swell time.

On last night's Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Buffett talked about his Margaritaville 'active living communities' for retirees, vertical tailgating for his Broadway musical, Escape to Margaritaville, and breaking liquor sales records at the theater. He also led the audience in a sing along of the iconic song 'Margaritaville!' Check out the clip below!

Jimmy Buffett and Escape to Margaritaville will take over NBC's "Today" when the cast of the new Broadway musical performs two numbers written by the iconic singer, songwriter, and author. In the video below, Paul Alexander Nolan and Alison Luff will lead the company in a medley of "A Pirate Looks at Forty" and "One Particular Harbor."

La Jolla Playhouse announces Hundred Days, book by The Bengsons and Sarah Gancher, music and lyrics by The Bengsons, directed by Anne Kauffman, and movement direction by Sonya Tayeh, as the final production of its 2018/2019 season, to run September 22 - October 21 in the Playhouse's Mandell Weiss Forum.
