Closing out this season at Encores! is The Golden Apple- the John Latouche and Jerome Moross' cult classic. The last remaining tickets are on sale for the desert's most anticipated annual star-studded concert event, Michael Childer's 'One Night Only', benefiting Jewish Family Services Of The Desert (JFS), to be held Thursday, April 20, 2017 at The McCallum Theatre. This 10th season's theme is 'Hello Jerry' and Michael and cast pay tribute to the incomparable composer Jerry Herman, bringing to the stage music form his popular musicals including Mame, Mack and Mabel, Grand Tour, La Cage Aux Folles and, of course, Hello Dolly. 'Hello Jerry' is directed by Jason Graae with musical direction by Christopher Marlowe. The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts today announced that Austrian soprano Ira Lauren and piano virtuoso/comedian Dale Gonyea are set to be the musical guests with Olympic Skating Champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White along with Phantom of the Opera's Davis Gaines in Willy Bietak's Broadway on Ice, which begins a special limited three performance engagement at The Kravis Center, December 22-23.

UC Irvine's Claire Trevor School of the Arts Department of Drama presents the classic Broadway musical, Man of La Mancha, tonight, November 14 - 22, 2015. The show marks the first performance in the 'Care/Cure/Corruption' Series for the 2015-16 Drama season. The production also marks the department's return to the Irvine Barclay Theatre stage.
