Leicester's Curve theatre has announced a host of online initiatives to bring theatre into audiences' homes during lockdown. A full list of content, which will be regularly updated, can be viewed here.

Following his success starring in the UK and Ireland tour in 2019, Peter Andre will star in the 2020 UK tour of the first new production in 25 years of Jim Jacobs & Warren Casey's iconic musical GREASE, at certain venues. As well as reprising the role of Teen Angel, Andre will also play Vince Fontaine and the Sergeant, joining the previously announced Dan Partridge as Danny Zuko. Further casting to be announced including who will be playing the role of Teen Angel, Vince Fontaine and the Sergeant when Peter Andre is not performing.

Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe of iconic British pop duo Pet Shop Boys join the production team for upcoming stage adaptation of Hanif Kureishi's My Beautiful Laundrette, creating music to bring the 80s-set drama to life.

Hanif Kureishi's groundbreaking 1985 film My Beautiful Laundrette will be reimagined live on stage this autumn in a brand new production from the Belgrade Theatre, Curve Leicester, Everyman Theatre Cheltenham and Leeds Playhouse.

Leicester's Curve and Birmingham Hippodrome today announce the full casting for their co-production of Oprah Winfrey's hit Broadway musical, The Color Purple, based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Alice Walker. The production, the first to be created outside of London in the UK, will play at Curve, Leicester from 28th June 13th July, followed by 16th 20th July at Birmingham Hippodrome, with a national press night at Curve on Wednesday 3rd July at 7pm.

Curve has announced the casting for its world-premiere Made at Curve production of Memoirs of an Asian Football Casual, running in Leicester from 26th September - 6th October 2018. The production is adapted for the stage by Curve Associate Artist, Dougal Irvine from the 2012 book by Riaz Khan. The gritty drama will be directed by Curve's Artistic Director, Nikolai Foster.

'IPHIGENIA IN SPLOTT,' written by Gary Owen and directed by Rachel O'Riordan, is now onstage at 59E59 Theaters though June 4th. This superbly crafted one-woman show features excellent staging and an awe-inspiring performance by Sophie Melville.

Curve and Rose Theatre Kingston have announced full casting for their upcoming production of Roald Dahl's THE TWITS.

Curve is delighted to announce its new production of the award-winning West End and Broadway smash hit musical comedy Legally Blonde, playing at the theatre until Saturday the 14th May, will embark upon a two week run at Deagu Opera House in South Korea. Working with Richard Darbourne Ltd as part of the Deagu International Music Festival, the musical, directed by Curve Artistic Director Nikolai Foster, will perform internationally from 25th June to Saturday 2nd July.
